Default Dyno Results RapTR cam and TEA/TFS 215's

Well, we recently finished a fairly large build for a local customer consisting of the following:

2000 M6 TransAm
Stock shortblock
TEA/TFS 215's milled to 59cc's
Stock Rocker Arms
GM MLS Head Gaskets
Thunder Racing RapTR cam 236/242 111LSA
Unported FAST92 w/NW92
85mm MAF
Kooks 1 7/8" w/ORY and Borla Catback
Moser 9" 3.89 gears (for N2O)
Ram Street Twin Clutch
Tuned by Geoff at EPS

Suprisingly enough, the car started up and idled with the stock tune! Anyway, first pull on the dyno was 462 with the base tune and tweaked out made 468 on back to back pulls. I will post up the dyno graphs when Geoff gets back to the shop tomorrow.

Thanks,
Shane

btw, when you say nitrous for the 3.89's is that ideal for turbo cars too or do they tend to go lower i.e 3.50's?

Thanks Guys! The customer was extremely happy. Its amazing how well the car drives. The cam sounds nasty as hell but drives like a baby...

seems like the numbers are low but then again you have a 9inch. i was hoping to see close to 500 with those TEA heads and that cam.

I figure with a ported intake, thinner gasket etc, we could have gotten closer. With a 10 bolt numbers would have been in the 480's for sure from what we've seen. The customer was budget limited and really only wanted 440-450. Needless to say, he was very happy.

Thanks,
Shane

Please post a graph! I want to see the torque and when peak power is made. Is a Vig 3200 converter too tight for this cam even If I ran a 100 shot?

turbo cars require taller gears to help keep load on the turbo and spool faster

Awesome Results!!! What was the CR with this combo? Could you give us a rough estimate on lift and type of lobes? I cant see the graph because the bandwidth out in the sea sucks. What rpm did hp and tq peak at? How much tq did this combo make?

Thanks for the comments! No flycutting needed. CR is 11.4:1. The cam's lift #'s are .615"/.612". Torque was 409 and peaked about 4600.

Thanks,
Shane
