Our lastest project is this 05 GTO,came in with SLP long tubes with catted mid pipes,SLP exhaust,Vararam intake.
We added a set of TFS 225 heads, custom cam mid 230's mid 240's,FAST 92,Yella Terra rockers,ud pulley, ported the throttle body.Needless to say we are pretty happy with the results. With a better set of headers and exhaust,i think we could have gotten to 530,but this is what we had to work with.
I want to thank the guys in the shop for the good work on this, and thank Ed for the killer tune as always.

holy ****!!! That is nuts! I am curious about something, and if Ed reads this he is going to laugh, knowing i would ask it.
That car makes insane power, and awesome torque. However, as said earlier it peaks high in the rpm range. For a car more geared for the street, if i wanted the same setup, torque, etc but peaking sooner, would it be possible to shrink the duration down a bit on that cam so the torque curve can be shifted to the left (lower rpm's) by about 1000rpms without losing torque? For example, if you kept everthing the same, but shirnk the cam to a like a mid 220's intake and mid 230's exhaust instead of mide 230's intake and mid 240's exhaust? can yo keep the same torque levels, just bring it on sooner?

Alright ED I think you misplace the wideband o2 sensor and the dyno temp sensor That seems like a pretty stout combo, any clue on why it makes so much power? The 225 trick flows are the as cast version right? Haha just playing Ed! What is the torque at 3000 rpm that seems amazing and what compression?

Not sure on the compression. You'd have to ask Shawn. He doesn't tell me anything.
Now for the ones that are sure to wave the BS flag, here are 5 runs leading up to the 520 pull.
We ran it with the belt on, the tires it came in with. No dyno tricks, no nothin.
