This will undoubtedly be the highest dyno numbers for only 7lbs of boost for an LS3 with these mods. There have been a number of Vorteched LS3's over on corvette forum and the cam'ed ones on 7lbs are pushing mid/low 600's. These cars have another 100whp on top of them. I don't get it.
. What can I say, Meth injection, tuning, etc..you may not be getting it, but the owners of these cars certainly ARE!

So what is the optimum A/F for this setup? 11.5 to 1 because of the FI ?

What are the options to make these setups more reliable if the injectors are done? Pump and injectors, or just injectors ? Either way great work.
Yea, With FI, I dont like to lean up any more than 11.5 on stock pistons. meth gives a little cushon, and 12.0 isnt too scary, and should be just fine, for the few hundred rpm it hits it.

And thanks. i was also thrilled with the numbers. I was expecting 630/550ish.

I'm assuming the current 689 and 686 numbers are correct? I saw someone quoted the OP and it said 789 and 786.

A 4 hp difference makes much more sense, and high 600's is much more believable than almost 800.

Was your project dropping pressure? I wondered if we really needed the pump drivers at all on these cars. Im just used to installing them on the boosted c5/c6s, so I just did so on these as well.

FYI, the fuel pump in the tank of the 2010 camaro is really short, so an aftermarket in tank pump is going to be an issue with them.

Oh, and the typo is corrected above!
Yes, there was a decent pressure drop starting at about 5400 rpm. 65 lb/hr FAST injectors.
Customer is installing a boost-a-pump as well, hoping for some big numbers when its ready.

I see you changed your original post from 7XX to 6XX for the rwhp numbers. THOSE are wayyy more believable numbers with the setup's you listed than 789rwhp/786rwhp. If you will notice, that is only 20-ish rwhp based off what I listed on the high end for the Vortech'ed LS3 cars, a difference meth can easily make as most running 7lbs do not run meth.

headers with stock exhaust and NO cam on my ls2 with a 11.5 A/F

i think with a cam and full exhaust plus a ported intake and tb ill be over 660 i hope with the same pulley

im impressed ls3's kick butt

the LS3's are crazy, I cant wait until the Z28 so someone can pull off that tvs and use a procharger F1 or a couple of turbos.

Very nice. What most people here are missing -it does make 7psi with the Cam in there but would make more with a stock Cam. Boost is a measure of backpressure. With a 4" pulley the #'s look great.

i dont know what your tuning history is. but fueling a car with methanol is a huge no no, plus running a methanol car that lean is not good either IMO, i always run the car with enough fuel without methanol, then run the methanol on top , this generally gives me an a/f of 10.5-11:1 depending on nozzle and pump size. if these cars run out of methanol, or have any hiccup i see yourself having comebacks with broken ringlands. in terms of the numbers, i am rather skeptical, but part of the added power could be from the engine leaning out on the top end

Do you have a dyno sheet? I would love to see the power curve(s) of these cars.

Haha guess not. Was this one of the cars that you dropped the head unit on the floor and threw it on anyway?

Agreed!

Fixed the title to the correct number. Nice power.
