Ok guys, here's the idle clip. It's still hard to get a good feel for the sound on a video, but it'll give a decent feel for the lope you may be looking for. The cold start idle is like 950 and as you can hear it drops down to 775rpm as it warms up. I have a full 3" y-pipe exhaust on the car with a Magnaflow Y-merge collector and custom Y-pipe 98Aggie fabbed up for us. The muffler is a Dynomax Ultraflow welded. I think an SLP Dual/Dual would be quieter, but my wife likes it the way it is and since it's her car, that's how it'll stay I guess.lol

You said this is on an ls6 right? Would this cam bring an ls1 with full bolt ons, patriot heads and fast intake + tb into the low 11's too? That's an awesome combo, good job.

Even with dry streets traction is non-existent with any kind of aggressive driving.

Yeah it was cold and wet most all week, but she did notice the extra power, just putting around town. We also swapped in a tighter stall converter at the same time so the car feels totally different than before.

I actually did not go with the multi-disc on this Cirle D 3B converter/set up since I didn't plan to lock it up at WOT other than for a few dyno pulls. It actually feels very nice around town. It takes very little pedal to get the car moving good and it couples quick. It's driving manners are exactly what we wanted with this set up. It makes the car feel lighter than it is, if that makes any sense.

The lock up disc is normally just used for freeway/cruise speeds when you want the best fuel economy, but it is common for motorhead enthusiasts to manually lock up the converter on the dyno for more accurate numbers and better tuning capabilities. Some also lock up the converter at WOT for a little extra et/mph, but this is usually only beneficial on power adder cars as it bogs the car down significantly. The multi-disc is recommended for this service as the standard single disc lock-up clutch isn't designed the handle that kind of stress. Circle D has a very strong and proven lock up clutch that can handle quite a few dyno pulls so I wasn't too worried
The rest of the converters internals and the way they are set up determine stall rpm, loose/tight and the TCs efficiency.
I hope that helps!

Yes and no. It was a bone stock LS6 long block from SDPC. No, it did not come in this car from the factory, but the heads never came off the engine to be modified. Ultimately, it shows the potential of adding the very affordable bone stock 243s and adding a custom cam to match the cars set up to get the most out of it.
It shows you don't have to spend big $$$ to make well over 400 rwhp and don't have to deal with uncomfortable driving manners from a big cam and half a$$ tune.
That's just my .02
