Corn juice is good and cheap around here. at around $2/gallon you can't beat it. One good thing about living in the cornbelt.
Car is naturally aspirated, temp was around 75 when tested.

Here are the specs, not many as stated

Nick Williams 92MM TB
stock intake
stock heads
stock bottom end
Cam.... 238/242 591/591 112+4
Stainless works headers 1 7/8"
tuned on E85. mixture was actually 86% Ethanol to be exact.
remainder of drivetrain.
RPM T56
Spec 3+
built 10 Bolt (hold on baby!!)
3:73
I have not had the car to the track since the retune,
before that I was cutting high 11's with 2.0's 60' @ 118-120ish

Car driveability is ok. The car does want to lug a little bit in lower rpms, but am still able to drive in 6th at 55 and not be anoying.

Nice numbers. I thought about an E85 tune, but I travel too much, and it's not always available. I don't own HP Tuners yet either.

Was the car dyno'd with unleaded fuel prior to the new tune?

Yes it was tuned to unleaded 93 octane.

However, I wasn't able to do full pulls as I was getting lean and running out of fuel. Injectors were fine, but needed to put the racetronix hotwire kit on. I'd get to around 5K and my fuel psi would hit the floor.

From 5k and under I gained between 10-30 HP and about 20 TQ accross the board from the 93 to E85. You can see my Stoich stayed consistent in my graph, and if you look at the table of numbers. on 93 before the pump hotwire kit I was spiking into the 14's at 5K, and was hitting 419 HP at 5K on 93octance. Now on E85 I'm at 442 at 5K running 10.5ish on the A/F, ever so slightly rich for E85. Yes I could probably squeeze a couple more horses from it, but am happy with breaking the 500 mark. I also cut out at 6200 rpm. I think I might have seen 510 if I kept my foot in it till 6.5 or so, redline is set at 6800.

I'll try to get some video of the dyno up soon.

Here is a video of the car running pre full exhaust, pre dyno-tune, and pre e85. Car was dyno'd with 3" duals through an X pipe, and flowmaster 40's.

Nice dyno numbers.

I'm curious how the power would fall off naturally if you kept spinning it past 6300. I'm looking to get over 500rwhp with my new 6.0l build (372ci), but I'll need to spin it past 6500 with my current tire/gear combination. Did you have any dyno pulls past 6300 by chance?

Where did you get this cam grind from?

Mike

Track,..........
maybe. Last trip to the track is gonna be hard to forget LOL. I am ready to go again just to see how it does. I still don't think I'll be trying for any record breaking 60's. I'll just take it easy, and go fishing. A lot.
Either way, I think real hard on it, and maybe we'll make a trip sometime early next spring.

Funny this post came up. We just talked about e85 on saturday, and that is what I was told. I know it's like 105oct or something,so I wonder why I was told it's not good in a daily driven performance car. I'll ask the reason next time I talk to them and see what they say.
