Default Cam swap, new numbers!

We did a baseline of what the car made before, the only thing done was a cam swap. Previous cam was Comp Cams 212/218 .558/.563 115. We swapped that out for a Torquer 2.

Baseline with Comp 212: 371 hp / 369 tq

Mods:
Torquer 2
LS6 intake
Mac mids and ORY
Cutout
SLP lid
ASP pulley
Stock catback through a Magnaflow factory replacement
3.73's

Car is an M6

Here are the graphs from the Torquer 2 numbers:

A/F:

401 hp / 389 tq

Very nice gains! How does it feel compared to the old setup? Noticeable, or hard to tell at that level of gain?

Thanks. Ill probably wait until I can afford to do Fast intake, new throttle body, and longtubes at the same time. Wonder if I could hit 420+ after doing that...

420 shouldn't be an issue with a ported FAST and long tubes.

on my cam only (torquer v1) i gained 18hp on back to back runs. and it was home ported.

with the added top end flow of LTs...plus the FAST...+20hp should be no problem.

i'd be interested to see how the torque curve shifts with LTs and the FAST...mine shifted DOWN 500rpm

I see those numbers are STD smoothing 0. I'm curious as to what they would have been with the standard SAE smoothing 5. Nevertheless, good numbers.

Ya Im curious about the shift and new numbers also. 18hp....was that going from non ported stocker/ls6 intake to ported Fast combo?

Ya we were expecting for me to hit in the neighborhood of 385-390 because of the midlengths and non ported tb. We were all surprised in a good way

You go to OSU?

Very nice. I bet that was a noticeable SOTP improvement. We need to line ours up sometime. BTW car looked really good running up 35 the other day (I was in my truck).

i went from an ls6 intake with ported stock TB....to a home ported (never separated) FAST 90.

same day, same dyno, tuned before and after to cancel out A/F tweak changes.

Nice numbers for sure, but SAE (smoothing 5) is the standard. It will drop quite a bit when it's corrected. It was almost a 20hp difference on mine. Take it to SNL Performance in FT. Worth some time. They have an EXCELLENT tuner, and a nice loaded dyno there.

just seems odd that they tuned it to run 13:1

mine tuned to 11.8 i think

but if you're "thinking" about the FAST...its a worthwhile upgrade. i was very pleased with mine. i got it used with some other parts for a VERY good price. $1250 shipped for the intake and TB, with 42# injectors, gaskets, hardware and stock ls1 fuel rail (wasn't needed but was included). it had a light port job by LPE, but i did a little more with my dremel and 2 hrs of my time.

If I did a Fast 90/90 and LT's what do you think I could hit powerwise?
