I was referring to you did this when I was in grade school. I'm older than you are. I'm glad that you have built a fast car, but I still don't think you can build a reliable 1000 rwhp car for 10K out of stock block, crank and heads. The 10K and the crank is more the sticking point than the block and heads. Boost masks inefficient heads and an iron block will probably take the HP but you'd have to do some work to it. The crank stock from GM would not live at that power level for very long.

im not saying u can drive it everywhere and beat on it all season and not have some crank chatter issues but it can and has been done

will it stay together all year? not too sure but at those horsepower levels will any engine??

if your just cruising it around and boosting 15lbs from stop light to stop light??? it will last a long long time

but if u want to boost 25 lbs and shoot a 75 shot to it u will break the 1000 mark and it will stay together for dyno pulls

shoot the spray at 5500rpm after max torque and u got it no problem

There are more than a few reliable 1000 rwhp cars. Who wants to spend 10k to build a grenade. Thats what you are describing.

im not saying it will be a grenade

dude made like 1300 at the crank with this set up and never grenaded it

he went 8.06 and only thing wrong when dissasembled was some crank chatter wich any boosted engine will have

I highly doubt that Camaroandres (which you're referring to) has under 10k in his set up. In his engine....maybe under 10k. He's got stock crank and heads, but that's about all thats stock. And don't forget he ran an 8.06 in a totally gutted out, suspensioned out, dedicated drag nova on E85. The turbo alone probably cost 2k. We're saying could you build an engine to make 1K whp for $10k? of course.....what will it run with the remainder? i say low tens!

Sure, 10k can buy you a pretty nice shortblock.

Lets use this analogy. cars=girls. The guys you go to school with are only defending their ugly retarded girlfriend. They are blinded by love for their first vehicle and cant see what a piece of $hit it is.

when you're building stuff, it all adds up quick. its never the big stuff. you'd need 500+ for the fuel system alone. -8 front to back, 2-3 pumps, reg, fuel rail, fittings, and a sumped tank or fuel cell.

Are you dumb?
Do you honestly think you can skip steps to save a little money here and there in a 1000Rwhp build and have **** not blow up?
This isn't some 700Rwhp build, that is nothing and skips can be skipped on a build like that. 1000Rwhp is a whole different level of a build.
