Anyone have or see dyno gains with larger MAF and Lid setups?
I basically have a 96/96 setup but a smaller lid and stock MAF. I'm looking for some ***** to turn for a little more. Anyone have or see dyno graphs where you put one of the 85mm or larger MAF's and 100mm or larger lids on and get a good gain?

The 100+ mm units will give gains, even over the 85mm GM units. The catch is, the big MAFs take much more time to dial in the tune. If you can do that proficiently or are willing to pay, you will notice the difference. Either will benefit you. For reference, I put down 465/446 through the 85mm MAF on a cammed LS3 and the tuning was a relative breeze (from what I hear).

I do not have a graph for comparison, I went from 85 mm SLP MAF/ LID to 100 TSP MAF / 104 fast toy lid and picked up 17 RWHP on the dyno, with my FAST 92/92 setup. But my tuner had a harder time to get the MAF tuned in.

Definitely good to know that these parts gain. Next up on my list are a bigger cam and FAST intake. After that I'll be looking at these parts for that little extra before going into the bottom end.

I'm in the exact same boat right now. I just sold my MTI lid and stock maf and bought a UPD lid and am kind of stuck whether I just spend 150-250 bucks on a big maf or just buy a strait bellow to go from my lid to my 92 mm throttle body. Where do you guys know to get a bellow that wide and long?

17hp over a larger than stock setup to begin with...had you gone from stock to the 100/104 you would have been in the mid 20s for hp gains.
CRAP thats alot. whats your engine putting out???
if things go like i want i plan to get a before/after dyno of the larger maf/lid setup on my cam only car someday.

I gained 9hp on my old set up ls1,afr heads, cam kooks 1 3/4,Fast 90mm ect. I went from a stock mass to a 85mm. We also dynoed my old 75mm wisper lid against the new fast toys 85mm lid and a UPD lid and had no gain from either.
JL WS.6- I heard a sd tune will run like crap when the weather changes. It's only dialed in for the day it's tuned and runs rough when it rains or something. Is this true??
