Default what should I do? huge power loss in numers

so I made
443/405 with my dads out of the box fast 92,

433/389 with a stock ls6

and I just my new intake on victor jr accufab throttle body it only made 420/372 torque,

do you guys think porting it will at least make power over the ls6 intake? my cam is a 244/250 on 109 ls1 on stock head castings

sold the ls6 a long time ago reason I got the intake was because I got the brand new accufab basically free, if porting it doesnt do much i'll put it aside and put something else on the car

Super victor is where its at Much better flowing intake but it still needs a little work. From what I've read the vic jr needs quite a bit of work to run good n/a.

The super vic would be even worse, its designed for even higher RPM than the vic jr.

Get a FAST back on it fast.....

The heads mabe the issue, You have quite abit of flow coming in and at best the stock heads flow in the mid 230 cfm range.

The Tick performance cam only car runs a super victor intake with their polluter cam. Has ran 130 mph. The super victor is where it's at. The polluter specs are not far from the trex.

i believe that is backwards vic jr is 3500-7500 while super vic is 2500-6500 if i remember correctly. both need work anyway. is the accufab a 4150? was the car tuned for the swap from the previous intake? usually people lose power when they run an elbow, not a 4 hole

yehp im not giving up on it yet i'll port it this weekend and see what it does and yeah its a accufab 4150 with no filter I plan on running a carb hat to it, but I do see where the heads are a restriction I might just put a set of etps I have on it

You do remember incorrectly. The super vic has always been the higher RPM intake manifold.

"VICTOR JR. LS1 (3500-7500 rpm)"

"SUPER VICTOR LS1 (3500-8000 rpm)"

The FAST was a way better, save yourself soem time and effort. Just swap back, your not going to make up that power porting!!!

Post up the graphs, I bet you lost a TON of torque too, youve only posted peak numbers which are not as important as undre the curve power and torque.
