Default Race fuel

Is it even worth my money to put race fuel in my N/A motor.Has any body seen hp gains wit race fuel in a N/A motor.

No 28 degrees of timing is good. Do not need race gas for that.

my car is auto will it do any good.I herd of manuals changing the timing up to 29 degrees.Changing the timing is it good 4 daily driving since my fire bird is my daily driver?

thats all it will do, higher octane burns colder, reduces chances of detonation. it will allow you to run more timing and make some better power, but your not going to want to run a high octane tune (more timing) with 91 or 93 octane...

Sounds like I should just leave my timing alone then still have to get 2 work lol.For an auto the car makes decent power 351hp at wheels and 363tq

Might see some gains running an oxygenated fuel of some sort.

get bigger injectors and fuel pump and do e85. much cheaper than race fuel.

I will elaborate however, 93 octane is not available in my area, so running e85 (which is 96 [r+m]/2) would allow me to be more aggressive with the timing

not always true...my car didnt like timing above 27*...made the most power there...running more timing only hurt my numbers

Yeah race fuel at the local sunco where i live is 7.60 a gallon.

The sunco by my house has 100 octane for 7.60 a gallon.I think it may be 110 cant really remember. Stuart FL

NA engines that have to run high octane fuels (race gas, ethanol, methanol, alcohol) are the ones that have very high compression in the 11.5-15:1 range.
