Don't think anyone is questioning his tuning capabilities, some are just suspect of the readings of an "unfamiliar" dyno vs. the standard dyno-dynamics or mustang dyno.

dyno dynamics? are you kidding me...
I wouldnt trust that crap any further than I can throw a rock..
I've seen bone stock camaro's dyno 250hp?

I've seen previous vehicles dyno way low on a dyno dynamics...
that **** is only good for tweaking the power curve...nowhere even in the ball park..

mustang dynos and dynocoms are the most accurate and are what the motor vehicle industry considers a standard
dynojets are usually higher unless they are the expensive onces that are loaded...then they read pretty close to to the mustang dyno's and the dynocoms.

I meant dynojet, sorry got them confused.

Either way, you post numbers that are significantly higher than full-bolt on records, let alone more tq than some H/C set ups, and people are naturally going to question you. Best way to confirm power is the old fashioned ¼ mile, subscribing for some promising times!!!

I have an 01 with pacesetter longtubes, loudmouth 2, slp lid, ory, smooth bellows, cut bottom of airbox, descreened maf, and k&n, and i put down 354/387 on a dyno dynamics.

Good deal man. If you need a way to get in touch with them in the future, a buddy of mine knows the owner very well and can get a hold of him easier than anyone else can.

Looking forward to seeing the track times and dyno numbers if you happen to make a few pulls there.

no dyno....

but...

poor track prep (in my opinion...lots of people having issues)
my street tires that don't hook at the line for Jack ****
and I need a real clutch instead of this stock one.... a Monster Stage 3 with Tick Master is coming soon

DA at the track = 2094

all in all with the above problems

12.94@109.77 has been the best I could muster up tonight

I've been trapping 108/109 mph all night long

Thanks for posting up your results even though I am sure they weren't what you hoped for.

For comparison, when I had some bolt ons, and put down 354/373 on the Horsepower House dyno jet, my car at full weight, minus spare/jack, trapped 113s in humid August weather at Beech Bend.

If you made 366/397 on a dyno that reads like most of us out here have our cars on, you would have trapped even higher than myself. I generally don't even post up in the dyno section or make many comments about peoples track times. But seeing as you were able to run at the same track that I do, I feel it is a fair comparison, and helps to solidify that your numbers just don't seem that accurate (the torque specifically).

I am not trying to bust your *****, discredit your tuning ability or integrity, but trap speeds tell the tale.

it also doesnt help that I was granny shifting on a stock clutch, leaving soft, and shifting out around 5700 to play it safe..

Your trap indicates that was a happy dyno or you would be trappin in the 115 range. Good runs tho, sounds like a strong runner!

From the bolt on cars i have seen dynoed. They usually have a maf and stock ls6 intake.I have herd of guys making pretty good numbers without a maf and the fast intake does have better flow,so i think its believable. My auto makes 9hp less than u with my ls6 intake. But your tq is way above mine good job.

trap speed indicates the power bein made. 109 trap speed means the car is putting down roughly 320-330whp factoring in the da. Wich as about on par... If it was trully makin 365/397 the thing would pull 114-115 in the 1/4 all day. A fast intake aint goin to gain much on a stock head/cam ls1, the ls6 intake is more than sufficient at that level...

Keep in mind if you cannot get on the gas until after 2nd gear combined with granny shifting you will not see a true mph. If you cannot launch a 6 speed it will not mph like it should. I for one know lol, if you can't launch at full throttle until after 2nd gear without a good set of tires you will never know the true potential. What kind of 60' were you cutting? I have also seen a 2-3 mph difference from slow shifting (slave cylinder) to quick clean shifts.

"Granny shifting, not double clutching when you're supposed to...." ricer excuses?

On a serious note, impressive dyno numbers but you need to get some sticky tires and maybe more seat time to back up those numbers.
