Default forged LS1 LS6 int & TB stock cam - just add T78

This setup is based on a 2002 WS6, stock block, with forged rods and pistons after spinning a rod bearing in the motor a couple years back when I used to spray it. I dropped on 317 heads under the stock LS6 intake and stock hand P&P TB, truck manifolds to 2.5" pipe merged to a T4 flange, with a Precision T78, a Nasty Perf Stage 3 fuel system w/80# injectors, through the T56 and a Moser 9" axle it put down 643WHP/673WTQ on a dynojet @ 13psi on pump gas.

I was very pleased with the numbers it put down. Here's a few vids:

and a little 2-3 pull

Add a cam, and I'm done. 600-800rwhp is max on the street IMHO (at least where I live). Great setup, hope you drive it and enjoy it, because it rocks!

why add a cam the car put down 643WHP/673WTQ @ 13psi on pump gas for goodness sake.

Leaving the stock cam will keep the car very easy to drive and it will be dead reliable and easy on the valve-train.

I see no need for a cam, nice work.

A car with an aftermarket cam can be dead reliable. I see no need for an aftermarket cam either. It's makes good numbers as is.
