What part of solid roller did you not find in his post? Its not uncommon to run a larger valve to support airflow above .600 lift then you little dick guys run in hydraulic setups.

Unfortunately for this setup there's nothing matched to compliment each other so the dyno results will be lack lustre at best.

I run a Wallbro 255 wired to the alternator and Ford green tops (42lbs). At C5 fuel rail pressures they are more like 46-48lb injectors. I make 656 crank and 577 RWHP and everything is fine.

Default Dyno Complete

Well the dyno results are in and I'm very happy with the numbers. We obvisouly have an intake which is too SMALL. I'm going to race the car for the rest of the season and then order a Becks sheetmetal intake. We will be at the track on Friday night and I will post dyno graphs along with track video later this weekend. Would enjoy to hear your thoughts. If you would like to view the dyno video, go to YouTube and search "House of Boost tuned 403ci Camaro"

Max HP - 533 - 5150RPM
Max Torque - 667 - 3500RPM

Thanks,

CoopZ06

Default Intake Pictures

My chassis builder built a custom 4 inch ram air intake. I do not have any pictures right now, but will post some this weekend.

Thanks,

hey guys, don't forget the TFS 215 is really a 219cc head out of the box. looking forward to seeing results on this monster. That 13:1 and solid should be a bit hit.

Sounds like the 5700 stall is giving you inaccurate torque numbers. It is physically impossible to make 667 rwtq @ 3500 rpm out of a n/a 403 ci engine. Something seems pretty off for a ported fast to peak so early on this setup. Nice setup though and I bet it rips at the track.

I totally agree. I have nearly the exact same setup only I'm hydraulic 254/258 with a ported FAST90 with better heads and a less compression and mine peaked HP at 6000-6100rpm and leveled off til 7000rpm then started dropping. My intake is def a restriction. Dataloggs showed mine to be pulling in 505-515g/sec of airflow and had my 60# siemens injectors running 55-56% DC.

Great numbers BTW aspecially through a big loose auto!

I'm switching to a Vic Jr and Accufab 4150 to help with mine's airflow needs.

Default Updated Track Numbers

We went to KCIR yesterday evening but were only able to run a single pass through the 1/4 mile. I really appreciate all the work the team from House of Boost (Jeremy, Eric, & Ben) did working with me through the night data logging the car. We were able to conclude the ram air system on the car was pulling in so much air at the end of the run that we were beyond the capabilities of the 42LBS injectors and the Holley 255 and a Pro Charger inline buster pump. We decided to spend the rest of the evening making 1000ft runs. The first run off the trailer (footbrake, shocks set very tight, and spinning badly) we ran 10.57 @ 128MPH. We finally made one pass of the transbrake, and ran a 1.47 60 foot and 6.61 second 1/8 mile @ 105MPH. The car still spun off the line and we need to free-up the front shocks and play with the compression on the rear. Once we install the larger injectors (60LBS) and complete the tune and shock set-up, I feel confident the car can run low 1.3 second 60 foot times and will probably end up running the quarter in the 10.10 - 10.30 second range. Next year we will install a sheetmetal intake and a stand alone computer system and probably take some more weight out of the car. The goal for the car is to run better than 9.50 but this will have to wait until next year when funds are available.

Thanks,

CoopZ06

You must be spinning pretty good off the line to only cut a 1.47 60ft. The 1/8 mile looks nice with good mph. Did you have the car scaled yet? My car with completely stock suspension went 1.46 60ft with a 6.97 1/8 mile at 98 or 99mph. Once you get everything locked down where it should be, that car is sure going to be a beast!
