4" silicone hose pried over the TB and CAI. Need a 4.25" hose to fit better.

Patrick,

I would be currious to get your take on how much this cam would gain over the ever popular 228/232 .588/.595 110 + 2. I had one of these ground; but never used it, so in a parts trade my cousin was going to install it in his C6 along with similar mods to what you have listed in this example. So....how much do you think that this bad boy would gain. At this point it is not to late to change directions.

The 234/242 112LSA cam would be worth 15rwhp on a 6.0L LS2.

Just an update. The red LS2 C6 ran 177.3mph today in the Texas Mile, which backs up the dyno numbers in a big way. To put that speed in perspective, a stock C6 with an LS3 (6 speed manual) ran 160mph today in the same weather. Modded ZR1 Vette was running low 170s. Good bang for the buck (the cammed LS2).

Hi Pat: Good results with tuning and EPS grinds. Question for you can you use Crane dual springs and 1.7 quick lifter roller rockers with EPS grinds? Would you recomend them? Do you think 500 rwhp is possible out of an L33 aluminum block 5.3 with flat top pistons and milled, ported and cc'ed 799 heads, 10.8 compression ration, same setup or a slightly more agressive cam? With every dyno trick in the book it might be possible what do you think? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Pat, is there a list of 1 mile mph's I can find? I'm interested to see what new caddi V's, c5z',s and c6 z's run in the mile. But a cammed c6 running more mph than a zr1 is just crazy awesome.

Great job with a great build. Patrick is top notch to work with and I'm glad to see such good results at the mile! Definitely a stout and economical project that made awesome power. Enjoy the car!
