We just built a 383CI LS6 with TJ Cylinder heads (flow 341CFM at .700), Mild Cam from Comp 236/242, LSX 90MM Intake, 90MM Throttle body from Midstate Machine, 3.42 gears on a 2001 Z06. We made 496HP and 473TQ to the rear tires. We are very impressed at the numbers we saw.

For TTtop you probably gained more with the Fast than you realized. I have the electric water pump and I gain 0 hp with this mod. Also with the zo6 maf and no tuning that didnt help so you may have done real good with the Fast intake.

My H/C 346 A4 is at MTI right now getting a LSX 90mm intake, 90TB, kooks 1 7/8, and a bigger cam than my X1. You can see my dyno numbers in my sig now safely tuned. I will have new numbers in a week or 2. Might go to 125-150 shot also. This is with stock bottom H/C set-up. I will keep you posted with results. Talk Soon!!

Default Dyno numbers with 90mmLSX and 90TB! Sweet!!

Just got of the phone with wayne at MTI. New numbers with LSX90,90TB, 85mm MAF, kooks 1 7/8, and new cam. I pushed 400rwhp and 380rwtq before. We just got 441RWHP and 403RWTQ. This is A4, Vig 3800 stall,12-bolt with 3.73 gears and heavy ZR-1`s. Not bad for stock bottom 346. We sprayed it with 150 wet shot and got 650RWHP and 660RWTQ. I can`t wait to see how she runs!! MTI are as good as it gets!!What do you think fella s!!

It was decent, there's more left in it! If I added a Electric water pump more timing & tuning race gas, cut outs etc. It could be at 500 RWHP or better

Dyno numbers in sig now. N/A and on 150 shot with stock bottom. Got rid of the fast TB and went with TPIS. Love the power now!

Jason finally got mine tuned better.
Numbers are now 490 and 473
I was looking for 500 but that is good enough, their dyno in known to be about 5 rwhp low.

Has anyone notice the obstructions in the lower left corner of each intake port?

It is 1 inch triangle that stick out ¼” into the port?

Also, the TB opening 1 inch into the intake has a lip of 1/8 of an inch all the way around it.

Is there a reason for this or just a mistake in the molding?

Has anyone tried cleaning up the intake ports and the TB opening?

I would think that these areas could reduce flow numbers.

I would like to clean this up if need prior to installing.

What did you do to your intake prior to installing it?

Dont touch the TB opening...
U can port out that lip in the intake to the point its straight right into the runner.

I dont have before/after numbers, but I figure that if my car is putting down 452/413 through my 4.10's and heavy smoothie II's, the LSX is doing something for me.

I don't have the numbers like some of you, but for now this is what i have.

383 rwhp/365 tq with unlocked converter. Never dynoed before Fast intake was installed. Stock block with 105,000 miles on block and transmission

Could not run with torque converter locked, because it kept breaking loose in the middle of the run. Should hopefully be able to reach 400 rwhp when I get my transmission and torque converter fixed

Please indicate which Fast intake 78mm or 90mm. Did you also replace the throttle body as well?
