Dynojet 228/232 H/C A4 Unlocked
***UPDATED WITH DRAG RESULTS POST #31***
I got my 2000 Z28 A4 dyno'd and re-tuned finally. The baseline are pulls from when I was cam only and had a very crappy tune. Since my last tuner was not so great, I decided to try out Complete Street Performance (New Sponsor).
Mods:
Lid, 85mm maf, smooth bellow,
Ported stock TB
LS6 intake
TEA Stage 2 LS6 Heads, 62cc
Streetsweeper HT cam (228/232 0.614/0.600 111+3 LSA)
Pacesetter LT's
ORY
Hooker C/B
U/D pulley
EWP
Vigilante 4000 stall
stock 3.23 gears
replica zr1's with 315 ET streets
Converter was unlocked for the dyno pulls.
I had a great experience with CSP and my car runs great thanks to Andrew. I highly recommend him as a tuner, especially for the badass GTOs he was pumping out of the shop.

My car's setup is pretty much the same setup as your car but I have a smaller stall, stock milled heads, and a loudmouth exhaust. I hope I am around 375 unlocked, i dunno, never had it dyno'd but it rolls out pretty good.
BTW, how do you like that vigilante 4k?

i would run it at the track, disregard the dyno numbers.
a friend of mine dynoed 425whp (dynojet) in an unlocked h/c car and traps 131 at around 3k lbs. whoever said autos and dynos go together like hotdog buns and turds hit the nail on the head. not to say your car will trap 125, but you get the idea...
i'd look for 118-122 out of that setup, regardless of dyno numbers.

Your just fine for a LS6 manifold and small tbody... This is why people post locked numbers, it keep the manual guys happy. Back to reality....395 unlocked thru that specfic converter is real good actually. The 3600-4k PI's are not the most efficient verters. You'll lose 30-35 rwhp with that unlocked. Also, I know for a fact that we are down 20 rwhp with a locked verter over a manual...(I should know I have dynos before and after my conversion to manual). With out knowing your race weight...I would look for 116-118 traps and 11.4-11.6 qt times...

However Im not really concerned about the numbers, just thought I'd post them for comparison. Im happier with the new drive ability I now have since the last tune.
The vigilante hits extremely hard. I think it would be a great stall for a GTO or a truck, but too much hit for my car's street setup. Im considering swapping to a PT4000.

don't worry about the dyno numbers. My car made 399/365 locked with a ls6 intake and went 11.29@120mph. Swapped the ls6 for the Fast set up and it went the time in my sig. Get it to the track and you will forget all about the dyno numbers.

yeah dude, thats really good power and it has pretty flat torque, hell my 11.7 : 1 396 only made 410 unlocked through single 3 inch exhaust but that was with a loose 3000 vig and 4.10 gears.
your car will rip.

Those #'s are in line for the mods. The internet crowd tends to forget that A4's will dyno 20-40rwhp less than a manual car.
The only thing I'd change is going back to stock a MAF. Not only is there no point in having an 85mm MAF with a stock lid size and TB, but I've actually gained power on cars before going back to the stock meter.

I'll say it again.......Vig 3600-4000 do not dyno well....period....I know, I had one...It will rip at the track....It will have less mile an hour than a Yank SS line or Thruster Pro at the big end...I wish a stall and auto only lose 30 rwhp.... Hell, he's losing more than thay with just that stall alone... 395 is a good number with that stall.....
