Bump from the dead LOL. A while ago i had to swap the stock ls6 short block because i had excessive blow by. I swapped to a stock ls2 short block and kept everything else the same. My previous numbers on the ls6 were 484/412. My new numbers with the ls2 were 493/435. Best E.T has been a 10.98 at 128 M.P.H

Nice new numbers, congrats! I've been leaning towards AFR heads for my future H/C/I build...after reading this thread and seeing real results, I think I'm sold! Thanks for all the posts and info

Good read, and great results! Thanks for updating too, it's interesting to see the difference between the LS6 and LS2 short blocks.

Any chance you have a dyno sheet overlaying those two?

The 20ft-lbs increase seems spot on for the increase in displacement. Car is also moving nicely.
