347 vs 418 locked
347 vs 418 unlocked
418 locked vs unlocked

418ci
11.14 - 1 cr
72cc AFR 225 heads with light weight intake valves
Weisco piston set in the hole for a 300+ shot of N20 (rings gapped accordingly)
Custom 245/260 .646/.629 Hyd cam
Super Victor (Box stock)
NX 2 stage plate
4150 to dominator adapter
Dominator TB
EWP
Edelbrock 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 with HVMC (I know I need bigger)

4500 rpm verter (that's where it was flashing with the toqueless little 347, lock up showed almost 10% slip )

Very nice power with that drivetrain I think high 9s is possible with good weather ..

So when are you planning to turn the juice?

Aint gonna go 9's at 3,625lbs and in a brick of a farmtruck..

Just realized I did not provide rpm on the sheets..

Peak hp was at 6,850 and peak TQ was at 5,500..

wow, thats lighter than I thought it would be. I would have guessed nearly 1,000 lbs over that!

Yes sir.. Truck actually weighs 3525 with me in it and a full tank of gas if the tailgate is off.. Other wise it's 3650 with me in it.

It's going under the knife soon and getting a 10 point CM cage but I have some areas that need to be massaged.. Hoping to keep it the same or even reduce the weight a bit more. If only I could make it more aerodynamic

Big power....very impressive!

I would have went a touch smaller on the exhaust lobe and a straight 1.875 pipe header is worth at least 10 RWHP here (N/A)......15 ish on spray.

Solid results for sure.....nice job!

Tony, you might be right on the exhaust duration, but I do have a 300hp to as much as 500hp hit in mind for this motor.. I think I might need the duration AND the header improvement. I'm thinking the spray might be best on a 1 7/8 stepped to 2 inch. What do you think?
