Default Not much gain with new mods

back in april i dynoed the truck and it put down 332/335, since then ive added
longtubes, e-cutouts and an underdrive pulley...on the same dyno and in the same gear it only put down 334/336 with 28 drgrees of timing and perfect air/fuel...did notice the filter was solid black so that could have killed a few ponies but not that many

with the shorties:

with the longtubes and asp underdrive pulley:

and if you look at 3000 rpm the long tubes dont make the 300ft/lbs the shorties did...whats the deal??

Like mentioned, the first chart is uncorrected. So, you were were in the 32x/32x area from the start. You easily picked up 10-15 hp and tq.

sounds good..just wanted to make sure there wasnt room for improvement..guess the track times will really tell

this is what threw me off: http://www.z06vette.com/forums/f5/dy...vs-sae-106055/ if you look at the 3rd post you will see the dyno shows SAE=443/413, Uncorrected=429/400, and STD=452/421..so i figured my uncorrected dyno with the shorties at 332/335 would read higher if corrected

if you look at your power line, that thing pulls straight, your actually liner power is better.

Have you retuned the truck after the mods? A/F is gook info, but the additional changes may require a different A/F. I am sure with more tunning you will gain more power.

comparing dyno numbers usually isnt very reliable especially when such little change in mods have been done. dynos read different and there are tons of variables that affect the numbers. main things id be worried about is your A/F ratios and drivabilty on the dyno. then take it to the track to see what you pick up power wise.

How far away is the place and do they save your old data? I'd run down there and have both graphs printed corrected (both SAE or both STD) and you'll be able to compare them much better.
