I normally won't say yes just by your numbers but since you ran a 11.4 with your old power you should see over 4th's what the new found power band. Keep us posted when you make it to the track.

What muffler/exhaust are you using? Pretty healthy increase with the cut-out open. Nice results for sure - congrats!

Custom 3" y into flowmaster 4" merge. Back to a 3" manual capped cutout then exiting the stock ws6 muffler

Just an update since I did track it. I went to 17's and have all the interior in. The rear was opening up so lots of stuff.

Results were about what they were on 400 rwhp. The 60' went from 1.54 to 1.68 but I think that is the rear. 1/8th was a little slower and 1/4 was 11.41 now 11.43. Mph went from 119.1 to 120.37. Overall although it made about 60 rwhp and feels much stronger I see nothing on the slip

Were you running at the same weight, same tires and what was the DA difference?
You should have 60' better and pulled a lot better mph in the same DA.

We make similar power numbers but I have gone 10.42. It may just be because my race weight is 3150.

INTERCOOLER2-I feel your pain. I did a mod change in the past and gained 50hp to gain only 2 tenths on same tires, same weight and close to same weather. My last mod change was removing the ported l92 heads for trickflow 235 heads, ect. I gained ZERO hp on the topend, gained about 15hp 20hp in some spots and 15tq under the curve and gained 2.5 tenths in the 1/4mi. went from 127 to 130mph. Funny how **** works.

I know it's stronger. First step is fix the posi with a locker. Next is raise the shifts from 6300 to 6700 and limiter to 7200. After that I may need to go back to 15's and possibly 28" tall tires instead of 26

I still run a 26'' slick and cut a 1.42 to 1.44 on them. I ran 10.63 on my wore out slicks gettin only a 1.55 on this run n/a. I thought about going taller, but afraid it would kill my gear and slow me down n/a.

Nice results. Interesting track info. My pig only mad 44x rwhp at 3780# race weight on 17's MT's drs has gone 10.90s with a 1.50 60'. I think there is something fishy with your times. Your speed is close to my 122. Mine where unlocked #'s and times. How fresh is your trans set-up?

Trans has 41k original and bangs good without slipping. Yea I don't know man. I need the rear fixed so it at least gets back to the 1.54 60's it did before. It should have improved to high 1.4's if I can hook it right. I'm doing motor though and no hit... is yours with a shot? Maybe that's the big difference. If your 440 was on a hit I bet your torque was higher than my 395.

Pulling the unit out this weekend but sadly won't be back together before the track closes.

Took it to the landfill today for a weight. Got the printout and race weight is 3880 lbs. so the stuff I put back in (plus Turkey day) I'm moving alot of weight.

Shifting at only 6300 so got alot of unused RPM's there. Hope to get that tuned out this week. Locker is in to fix the one wheel peel:

Thanks for the update! I think it's just a case of sorting out the bugs. Once you get it all working together I bet you'll be real close to a 10, if not there.

if youre only shifting at 6300, thats why your still getting almost the same time slip. Youre even lucky that its not slower since you moved your rpm power in the upper range..Proves that this cam still makes great power down low n mid range.

Exactly. I can't wait to get the shifts extended now that the rear is fixed. The 3880 lbs. is rough too so I may pull the seats, tire and jack like before. Plus I have a 10" sub box and amp to yank.
