I dont think he'll run a full point leaner NA, maybe half a point (depending on weight)
FI definitely will be leaner (especially turbo)

I set an appointment with LS1 Speed for tomorrow so I'll drop it there and see what they can do for me and dyno it and see what it pulls.

Took it to LS1 Speed and got it tuned and dynoed.

New numbers are 429.1 rwhp and 390.2 ft/lbs of torque and they took care of the a/f ratio. They say loss through a 9" is about 10-15 rwhp according to dynos they made. So i guess now im happier

Very nice! Did you get a graph from them? I'd like to see the A/F after they got finished with it.

I think you have more left on the table somewhere. I dida lot more than that with stock heads. I would think about getting some different heads.

So the Ford 8.8 is one of the most efficient rearends ever made, and 12-bolts and 9-inchers certainly aren't. There'd be a very noticeable drop in your dyno if you swapped the 8.8 out for a 9 inch, in addition to the extra weight of the rearend itself. You wouldn't make 429rwhp through a 9 inch with your combo, is all he was saying.
