Default G5X3 cam only

Well went to the dyno today to see what the car makes with the M6 and it went from 363 (4000 stalled a4) to 418.. Only change was m6 swap.. I have g5x3, longtubes, an ls6 intake

Hmm, gives me hope. Mine made 400 through a high stalled 400 and in the process of gathering all the 6 speed swap parts.
Congrats man, thats a HUGE difference

get a set of ported heads and a intake and the cam will produce more.

Stock 243's with full boltons minus a FAST and EWP 420-450 depending on the dyno used and tune quality

Thats funny RJB01camaross i my made 450 rwhp on a dyno with a dynojet conversion of 475 rwhp with stock 799 witch is the same as 243s all bolt ons and a G5x3 cam and you said that I was a little high on the HP have you changed your mind. IF I HAD MY HEADS CNCed RIGHT IT WOULD BE CLOSE TO 500.

I hope you didn't go through all that trouble for a dyno number. I wouldn't have expected anything different with a swap like that from a converter that loose. I wish more people could get thier head around the differences when they try and compare numbers. I actually get a little frustrated with people who buy a bunch of engine goodies on a high stalled car and get butt hurt when they don't make the numbers thier buddy made with an M6. I tell them "take it to the track and you will see the difference" and they say "but.... the other guy...." Sorry for the tirade, congratulation on your set-up. I bet it's fun pulling through the gears.

Nope, yours has a ported FAST and EWP since you say it has full boltons, which is strong especially since it wasent on a dynojet. Good luck getting 500 out of your setup though. I have seen 3x C5's with H/C using that cam and 2x F-bodys as well as 3x cam only set ups and neither of the H/C cars got close to 500 lol. Good luck though!!!

That is a big difference, but why did you go from the A4 to the M6? Not just to have better dyno numbers I hope.

That's crazy! Did you ever get to race your car with the A4? It would be cool to see if your shifts with the M6 will be as consistent/fast as the lower A4 horsepower #'s.

I love my C5Z after owning a stalled auto. Shifting is a lot more fun. lol
