I got you all beat
I dynoed with these mods: Lid, filter, MSD plug wires, descreened MAF, MAC headers, no EGR or AIR or Cats, 2.5 duals with Xpipe and bullets
dynoed on a "Dynomite Dynamometer":270hp @ 5600, and 275tq @ 4800rpm's
of course it constantly had a 10.8-11.0 A/F ratio during WOT

I made 333/347 about a month ago

I have about EVERY bolt on minus pulley and LS6 intake
Mods:
HookerLT's
Cutout
LS1 Edit
ALL BOLT ONS
Fat *** 18"wheels/tires....

I always thought my car dynoed low. Then again, considering it made 333 through a ls1 intake, i guess i'm pretty satisfied. I've never been interested in making ALL out HP, just a good strng car. I figure w/ a LS6 intake i should pick up....10 at the wheels?????

I just visited the "highest horsepower bolt-on" thread, and as I said earlier, it appears that the '99s dyno less than any other year ls1. I don't think there was even 1 bolt-on '99 over there that dynoed very high. I wonder what gives. I understand why the '01s and '02s dyno higher but there were even some '98s and '00s in that group.

Default My dyno

I have a 2000 TA WS6 with just over 100k on the clock. I just ran on a dynojet last week:

320rwhp 328rwtq (but with a really dirty K&N) The only mods are SLP lid, and flowmaster muffler only. I have no bolt on's currently. Would would anybody recommend? I heard AIT resister bypass-- is the throttlebody coolant bypass worth anything?

Those are very good numbers and spot on what I witnessed a '99 TA dyno with similar mods on the same day I dynoed.

32rwhp 31rwtq with a cutout? Must have been a great day for the dyno. I find that very hard to believe.

Just goes to show how different dynos are. I dynoed 314 rwhp at MTI with pretty much all the basic bolt-ons and a high stall converter. When I went to go get my H/C install done at TSP they dynoed it before, the first pull was 305 the second was 310. The only difference between the two dynos that i recall is I now have Pacesetter LTs with a 3" true dual setup vs. my old MAC midlengths with 2.5" true dual setup, and I was running a Yank PS4400 converter and am now running a PT4400. So in all actuallity you would think the numbers would get better not worse. My car is just not a dyno queen, and the converter eats up a lot of HP also

well the thing is, the first dyno i went to. EVeryones #s was pretty low and complaining, because that dynos thermometer was reading the outside air, which was about 40 degrees or so, but inside we were running at 70 degrees. So when they corrected it, everyones numbers were off. The dyno i went to. is very accurate. And just to see, everyone who dynoed at the one i did, dynoed within 3hp of another dyno shop. So in reality, my car probably wouldve dynoed around 315ish with a lid. I have the dyno runs on file if you want to see them. everyone always said my car was pretty quick for what it was, so when went to the first dyno, we were like, wow thats pretty low, then other peoples numbers were like 15-20hp off also.

The Dyno I've gone to has an open overhead door. The indoor air is as hot as the outdoor, sometimes hotter. In the 90's and bad air quality on the 387HP day. Maybe I need to go to a climate controled shop, because of the huge temp swings.

well, that wouldnt be a problem assuming they are correcting with using what the thermometer says, assuming its what air temp inside the dyno shop. I dont know any dyno thats climate controlled except heat. It hurt the cars on my day because it was correcting for a lower temp hence everyones #s were off. I mean cmon, i didnt gain 31hp with the cutout. The first dyno was off by about 15hp or so. either way, ill be getting a ported TB and ud pulley hopefully, ill let u know the numbers then.

You've evidently haven't been to Phoenix in the Summertime.
110 to 120 possible for days on end. Even get humidy, especially in August and September.
I'm pretty sure we have at least one indoor climate controled Dyno Shop. Those metal buildings get up to 130 to 140 inside without insulation and air.

I guess the air conditioning would keep the weather conditions out of the equation.
My tuner said if we had the same weather the last time we where there, about 30 to 35 degrees cooler and better air quality, I probably would have been up 15+HP on the 387 day.

They should have some way of calibrating Dyno's, like a scale, so that you could get a really close number anywhere, anytime.

I'm not sure. Air quality, humidity are other factors I would think IMO

my 98 Z28 convert A4 did 277 rwhp stock
my 00 Z28 A4 did 288 stock, but with just bolt-ons and tuning (no headers or even 3" exhaust) put down an amazing 330 rwhp!
my 98 M6 did 317 with most of the bolt-ons (no stock #'s) but see many stock LS1's post higher numbers.

Off topic, but my 97 LT1 T/A M6 put down 246 stock. Ouch that's low.
