im not guessing. i asked when i was there and i was told. then when they did the next one i asked a specific question about what was changed and was told yes. so if its not exact on the second one i might be a degree off. big deal. not that it really matters though. all i care about is it working with stock heads and the hp #'s. i leave the r&d to the ones who know what they are doing and ill buy it when its done btw, thanks for the kind words

oh, sorry, my bad ill let yall know asap. think yall will be buying them quick. i know i will. i have been wanting that kind of power but didnt want to spend 2k on heads. now im getting happy to see the great results. best thing is the 450rwhp was with out any additional tuning from the other cam. so im thinking mid 450 low 460's with a good tune could be possible who would have ever thought. jason will post up the new numbers possibly later tonight if they had some time to test it today. just think, our air has sucked lately also. its raining all day.

Just an update from today:

We installed the FAST LSx intake this afternoon. We ran out of injector in the process, so SVO 30lbs were installed. With a little tweaking, we were able to get 455rwhp/410rwtq. There is some more left with a bigger TB, some other tuning, etc., but we ran out of time to mess with today.

The intake wasn't worth alot of peak hp, but in some spots it was worth 10hp/tq in the low/mid-range.

I"ll have the dyno graphs, sound clips, and much more info on these cams later.

Here are the graphs from the past two days:

TRx V.2 graph

Comparison of the V.1 to the V.2

Added FAST LSx intake to the V.2 cam (the dip in the middle of the graph is my gas tank being almost empty; had to add some fuel on the next pull lol)

I'll try and get the sound clips uploaded tonight or sometime tomorrow. I'll be making a post tomorrow as well with a ton of info on these new cams, including availabilty, specs, driving comparisons, etc.

Dude, I know that he knows .... hense the big afterwards ... meaning that I was JOKING.

95formula and SmokinTA both got it ... Obviously it was just a little over your head.

Therefore, Thanks!

It was set to the lowest setting of smoothing which gives a very choppy line but shows a 2-5 rwhp gain because of the jagged peaks for better #'s...everyone else does it, might as well follow suit (same way they got 500 rwhp so far stock bottom end, on maximum smoothing like most people use it would be like 495-498...but gotta go everything for that 3 hp!

heheh...

The smoothing was set on #3. This is where we normally keep it set at. Going to the #5 setting decreased power by less than 1hp.
