Test this cam on a 97-00 ls1 with headers, ls6 intake manifold & tuning. I want to see what it does on a 98-00 car (slightly different heads). If it does over 435rwhp..you are going to have customers. Do another test car.
Sound clips please!!!

If I could get anything over 400 rwhp, my car will be a 10-sec car easy!!!! And if I did it on stock heads, that'd be sweet as hell!!!!! I'm anxiously awaiting more results and testing and track times!!!! Cuz i'd much rather spend a little extra money on a cam swap then up to $2000+ on a set of heads!!! And then the heads could always be added later!!!

Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft - T-ReX v.2 - 242/248 - .608/.612 - 110 lsa 3500-6700 RPM Power Band. Violent mid-range & high RPM power. Requires computer tuning, 4000+ converter on autos, 4.10's or greater on manual trans cars. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. Due to the extreme nature of this camshaft, piston to valve clearance must be verified when using modified cylinder heads.
The specs are out!!!

Hey Jason, you think this cam would be ok with a 4000+ stall with only 3.73's in the rear? Cuz I can't go any higher on the gears, cuz for now I have to daily drive the car, and have no OD! Also, you think it would be ok in a daily driver? I have a very different definition of streetable than most, hehe!! I just don't want to be breaking valvetrain parts left and right, or bottom end for that matter!

My idle is set at 1000rpm, will that be sufficient with this cam? 4400 stall here with 4.11 gears. My car is tuned for a 236/240 112lsa should I be able to run this cam ok on that tune?
