I think they're worth the wait. I havent had mine tuned or anything yet and it runs damn good. O the valvetrain is super quiet, even on a 247 grind.

It will be worth the wait. I waited about a month for mine, hoping to set the motor in tomorrow and fire it up by next week.

Im glad Geoff came through for you. He is a great guy to deal with but after leaving Thunder he is on his own and very busy. He is someone who will take time to explain in detail what he is doing for you and why and will give you a great tune or a great cam, your choice.

Why 7 weeks for a cam? THey take a few days to run through custom order grind time?

Why??? Because if you order one cam from Comp that is mostly true. Try ordering almost 200 cams in the last 2 months. I still have cams from two weeks ago that haven't been ground yet.

my cam took 7 weeks to get here from eps. i was startin to get pissed off but it was worth the wait. just plan on ordering the cam earlier for your build. and ive got a 415 stroker with l92 heads and an 238/246 cam. its somewhat of a nitrous cam though. i will give dyno numbers when im done with the build.

I wish I had good results from the track last night but the car was cutting out and not running good at all. I suspect a rocker arm issue on number 8 cyl . all plugs look great except num 8. I will try to look at it tonight to confirm the issue.

When i put the motor back together the rocker on #8(cant remember if it was exh. or intake rocker) did not torque right. I pulled it out to look and it was stripping the head. I loaded it with lock tight in hopes it would hold but it does not appear to have.

I will have to put a heli coil in it.

Confirmed. Intake rocker pulled out of the head.
