Default cam only torque monster 379hp/427tq

just finished this up for a guy, a relatively small cam, stock everything except headers, exhaust, lid.

379hp/427ftlbs

thru an unlocked converter and a slipping trans. first pull on the street the trans let go.

Sounds like a torque spike from the flash of the converter. Pretty sure 427 would be a cam only record.

What are the cam specs? Where's the cam from? In all honesty, I think that torque number is jacked up....way up.

Another one of those "I won't give out the cam specs" LAME!

Well with that said, my 226/230 put down 432rwt...because it felt like it on the street.

Cam specs and graph or it didn't happen!!! You can't believe everything you read on a computer monitor man. Stop being a puss and hand out the cam specs. Get the tranny fixed and on another dyno cause that torque number is bogus until then.

like it was mentioned before the torque spike was from the flash of the converter. I've seen unlocked converters do this! lock the converter and re dyno it when the tranny is fixed

Those are not haters, just poeple with common sense.

(Torque X RPM) / 5252 = Horsepower

Oh it's believable, its simply a flash of the converter. But for a supposed shop to play off flashing the converter as a legit rwtq # is shady as hell.
