Default 413/403 FMS cam only street customer

Im making a new post since Scotts went downhill fast.

Heres the graph

http://community.webshots.com/user/cammin

Please click on Scotts dyno to see the graph.

Cam is the Futral Motorsports F10 (228/228)

Bolt ons include, Kooks LTs, ORY, GMMG catback,Cammin BeaSSt ported TB,stock maf, stock pulley, lid and tuning by EvilZ28NOS

results speak for themselves. Not too shabby for a cam under 230 duration and drives with stock manners.

FWIW, All dyno pulls were with stock belt, stock pulley, through the GMMG and with a paper filter.

Lets try n keep this one on topic guys.... Thanx

Nice graph and numbers. Where does this cam pick up HP as compared to the 226? Is the gain just up top? Is there any loss to the bottom end? Its hard to compare numbers and graphs from different cars, so I hope one of you FMS boys would know the deal. Im looking at Mike H.'s graph but its through an auto and scott's is through an M6 corrrect? Thanks.

I had my heart set on the 226 but now you guys had to bring out some good numbers on this cam. Congrats.

Revelation I'd say this cam looks to make more power up top. You dont really need to worry too much about low end power because of the stall convertor. It looks as if the 228 made a little more power at 4500 though! I'd imagine the idle quality out of this cam is very similar to the 226. This cam seems like a good choice over the 226.
The .581 lift should be safe with comp 26918's too.

Looking forward to what Allan can get out of mine with basically the same setup, F11. Wish it wasn't a month away

CamminBeast,

Do you know if that FMS 230+ Dyno in the webshots is the FM12 Camshaft?
If so is it a 112 or 114? How does it idle, and sound?

Thanks,
Bryan
