Default 6.0, LS3 Topend, EPS (Pat G) 226/234.

Dynoed the car last week. It was extremely hot, and humid, but seemed to put down good numbers.

6.0/LQ9
EPS (Pat G) 226/234 .598”/.602” 113LSA +4 advance
LS3 Heads/Intake
92mm TB
1-3/4 headers, with dual 3"
4.10's
SD Tuned

Made 457/433

I figured I might make more power with 1-7/8 headers, removing maf (I'm SD tuned), and a cooler day. I'm happy with the numbers since I was only hoping for 450.

Love the torque. Any time you make over your cubic inch displacement in torque by 3000 rpm, it's a nice combo. Glad you're pleased. Tell Brian nice job tuning it too.

The torque is one thing I liked about this combo. Thanks for the cam specs.
Yes, Brian did a great job tuning. I'll probably go back when I get 1-7/8 headers, and see if it will help any.

Yes, it,s an unported l76 intake, and using mls gaskets. I did remove the poles inside the intake, but not sure if it did anything power wise.

The LS3 stuff always impresses me. I've been kicking around a junkyard LQ/92 build around in my head for awhile now. I'd imagine similar results with a proper cam? Is PTV clearance an issue at all or is this a bolt on and go set up?

I've read over and over on the Interweb that the L92/LS3 heads are weak on the bottom end. Something about the intake runners being too big...

Nice work and congrats on not over-camming!

Well The Size of the port VS the Air they Flow I consider them Weak in stock Form, They Make Good power because they have good low-mid lift flow imo, ported thats another deal
457-430 is Awesome Power Good job!

Get the ARH headers and yes, retuned, it WILL help with no downside.

Did you mill the block at all before installing the heads I have a ls2 I'm about to stroke. Would I have to go with bigger valves if it's stroked? I know I'll need stroked springs and roller rockers for the cam. That should hold right?

I'm running a very similar EPS cam in an LQ9 with LS2 heads, making me wish I had gone LS3 top end.

Very nice! I'm doing a similar build except it will be 370ci and the LS3 intake and throttle body will be ported. Hoping to hit 460+whp and 440+wtq.
