I'd like to see more unlocked dyno's of your a4's. too many damn m6 dyno's here.

wheres that 500wft/lbs of torque from the verters.

Most people dont dyno unlocked. From what I hear its harder to tune the cars unlocked. Plus there are spikes etc. The last time I dynoed I was unlocked but the we couldnt get on it till about 4000 or it would down shift into 2nd. I think jfm `s dyno sheet is up somewhere and so is mine. both were unlocked

well unlocked is how you drag the car so it would make sense to run it that way eh?

if you have tech2/efilive pro/etc you can force the verter and gear to do your bidding anwyays. i was just curious to see more dyno's of your cars. Thats some kick *** power you got dude. Mind posting the dyno? hows the drivability with those heads. They must be pretty nice heads to lay down 431 sae whp, what kinda cam is the R1?

most of the cam/head cars A4 i've seen didnt put down that much power, so kinda why i skipped the heads for starters, but seems like you got a pretty good combo

i'm more of a torque under the curve kinda guy, so i was just curious how mods affected this "curve". Peak whp is cool and all.. just wanted to compare some curves of other a4 dudes. seems this forum is all bout the M6, but i know theres a crapload of a4 modded cars on these forums..

Thanks man

I got my heads alittle over a year ago from absolute speed. They are not as good as the current one that are out now but still work very well. But I originally had a tr230 cam that was great. It make 421/386 with that cam Locked. I now have the "R1" cam by MTI . On there site it says for strokers only but obviuosly thats not the case. The specs are 232/236 .575/.578 112 + 4.

My sheet can be found here

431 dyno sheet

They lamenate the dyno sheets so there is a reflection when scanned so its very light
I have 28 degress of timing and A/F peaked at 12.7
I think there is another 5 in there but Im waiting for a ported TB and then Ill recheck it.

Here ya o. Like Jeremy said, not alot of guys are doing this unlocked. Here is the 500 rwtq you were looking for. This is through a Speed Inc S2 A4, TCS4400 and a 411 12 bolt.

I was thinking of selling it, but it seems unlikely now. I am so crazy in love with it. But I hate it, love it, hate it..........

I havent raced it with the new #`s . Last time out on my 245/50/16 nitto drag radials I went 11.40@ 119.5 with a 1.649 60 ft. Traction limited

My car is a daily driver with stock suspension weighs alittle over 3600 with me in it. I am pretty sure with the extra power i added and some slicks and skinies I can put down a pretty decent # . Im thinking low 11`s possibly high 10`s with alittle weight loss . But until I do it I wont claim it. The car is pretty much a sleeper . Looks totally stock. HAs a decent chop from the cam but people are really supprised by what the car does on the nittos

365-367whp averaged over the last runs, unlocked SAE. little lower than i expected, but i'm shooting for 12.0 and nothing faster due to the fact that i dont want a cage (yet). I haven't run it yet, damn tracks around here that are open are 1.5 hrs away and you get 4 runs in for 4 hrs. i might go find a closer 1/8 mile to practice launching. I have no idea what it runs, the "BEFORE" mods run was 13.7@103.45, hence why i put all the mods on. I was expecting a few more hp, but the torque off the line is more than i expected. Before the 555R DR wouldn't chirp hardly, now i can't get them to dead hook on the street from a dig.

lemme put in a season and hone my (lack of) drag racing skills and see what brakes, then i'll know if i want to get heads and get a little more crazy. This is my daily driver too so i dont want to turn it into a saturday night special (yet).

max power reads 367.8, max torque 481.8 sae corrected, unlocked.

Hey those #`s are pretty good man . Right where they should be. Try to run the nittos at 18 psi hot. Also do a nice size burnout. Nittos like to be hot! Ive done a best of 1.60 on mine. You can easily run in the 11`s with that much power. check out this site.It might help ya hook on the nittos. It really helped me when I found it a year ago.

Sorry, all I put down was 362rwhp & 377rwtq (with an LS1 intake). And I still have a stock motor & stall. I am hoping for closer to 375 after the LSX, Jantzer TB & Custom Predator tune. Maybe next year I'll hit mid 400s after h/c or a blower. It would take both to get my car to 500....that's some serious power!

so check this, an m6 with 380whp and an a4 with 367whp, no chance to rock out from a roll? i know on dig i'd probably slay em , but what about on a roll? how much more powah we need to overcome their ability to row?

I gotta tell ya man even if the m6 has the same hp as you from say 50 up hes gonna take ya out. under 30 i think you might get him . Those m6 cars mph like crazy. Its hard to beat one with decent mods from a roll. Ofcourse if the guy cant you might be in business.

With a PT4xxx you should be able to hang with an M6 from a roll and maybe pull some.

Maby I should think about a new converter. Ive also seen m6 cars 4-5 mph than the a4s even stock.

We ran a Vig 3500 before the PT4000 and gained about 2-3 mph with the yank. And feels very good from a punch.

thats becaue our thrid gear is insane on acceleration if it will hook. i have raced tons of a4 cars with similar mods to mine. i allways pull hard from a roll but from a dead stop its all in who gets traction
