The high torque number im sure is a result of a torque spike with the converter. I don't see what's so unbelievable about his setup making 525...

Anyways, awesome numbers man. Any reason you went with a 346 instead of a LQ9? Or for staying stock cubes for that matter?

clearly and rightfully so that a solid roller motor make more power than a hydraulic roller(which 99% of the cars run on this board)

Sexy build...what fuel are you using? Racegas or e85...I still want to throw slugs in my car to 14:1 and run it on e85...and see how it does...

That is a great RWHP number for a mustang and being unlocked...i bet that is the tq spike...what was done to the heads?...

my car is just a 346, with 100% factory short block, the pistons are flycut, plastic 102 intake, hyraulic cam .624 lift, and milled TFS215 heads with ls3 hollow stem valves...

i was on a dynojet and the converter was locked...

It ran 10.08 at 131 in 84* heat on a 1.29 60ft, so you are going to be deep into the 9s with yours...if your raceweight is as light as me at 3050...

hyjack off...I want to see that graph where did it peak 7200ish

just curious, what headers are those?

nice numbers, that's a strong *** car going through the 12 bolt, those tires, and a big stall auto...

Running on 112 right now but once I get the gas back on the car it will be 116. The heads were cnc ported by ETP and flowed in the 330+ range. The race weight for the class I am running in is 3200(275 Real Street) and I think the car is right in that weight range now. I have been trying to load a pic of the dyno graph but it keeps saying load failed. I will try it again in the morning. We were pulling the car to 7500 rpms and it never fell off. I may put it back on after nitrous install and do a couple of motor pulls to 8000 rpm and see what that graph looks like then. The tq numbers by 7500 were around 420.

Try using "photobucket" to upload the image and then use the image tags here with the image link to post it - tends to work a little better

A while back we put together a 346ci that likely dynoed in that area but never made it to a dynojet. It did trap just under 139mph however.

I believe Vengeance also put up a 346 ci dyno around 530 rwhp on a car a few years back also.

To the OP: Looks like a great setup and should run. Goodluck with it.

I done the tuning on the car while on the dyno and I can assure you that this 346 is a beast! I'm sure i could get another 15-20 hp out of it since it was a bit fat around the hp peak. Thadd seemed pleased so we decied to stop there. I think the 7500rpm/150+ mph pulls was making him nervous. lol Thadd is going to put it on a Dynojet pretty soon,so expect some even bigger numbers.

Nervous doesnt start to describe how I was feeling, lol. If you have never had your car pulled to 7500 before then its hard to explain but it sounds like it is turning 10,000 rpms. But Ira(Boostdoctor) was also the one that put the engine together so he wanted to keep going to 8000 because he knows the abilities of the motor.
