Default 346 LS1 w/auto N/A hp numbers

Just completed the LT1 to LS1 swap into my 97 Camaro. Put it on a Mustang Dyno and was very pleased with the results......525 rwhp 560 tq. through a th350 and a 12 bolt. It will get a shot of nitrous put back on it after a few passes at the track to make sure everything is good to go.

I won't even touch on the rwhp... But you made 560rwtq on a stock cube ls1 on motor? Torque spike? Torque shouldn't even clear 450.

What is the setup? You made a couple more rwhp than chris did which I believe would put that as the record rwhp for an ls1.

Those numbers seem pretty high for a stock cube ls1 through and auto and a 12 bolt. In for the mods and comp ratio

14-1 compression, ETP highly moddified stock heads, custom cam 745/754 on the lift, solid roller motor, aluminum rods, Jesel shaft mounted rockers, Vic Jr style intake, Accufab 4150 style TB, vacuum pump, tuned with a BS3 on a Mustang Dyno which normally shows lower numbers. What is the HP record as of right now?

Chris who by the way? We pulled on the car from 2500 rpm -7500 rpm. It made the tq early in the pull. I cant remember what it was in the higher rpms.

So, you put stock pistons back on some aftermarket aluminum rods while still retaining 346ci? Most usually do a good clean up on the block and hone it for some pistons to 347ci. Why would go through all that and not do it?

Hey, its a dyno section....graph should be a requirement lol!

Interesting. Nice numbers if they are legit. A video of the beast would be nice to! Maybe the torque came from a spike due to the converter flashing?

I know, thats why I laughed (lol) Can't wait to see the graph though, I definitely want to see the torque curve.

Very nice setup! I almost wanted to go with the Victor Jr, but didn't feel like hacking up the car....So I went with a Mamo Ported 102.

The new block makes sense! Thanks, I was scratching my head at that one....
