why is torque numbers so low

why is torque numbers so low

I have a 2001 ws6 with a forged 347, ported 799 heads milled .20 , cam specs are 234 240 @.50 629 629 112+4. 4l60e 4000 ptc, 373 gears 96mm typhoon intake, sd tune, pace setter headers and y pipe with a magnaflow exhaust.
Dyno on a dynojet today and made 423hp and 365 tq. Why is torque so low?

I dont think your torque is low at all, that stall kills dyno numbers. I had a very similar setup to urs, 346, ported 243's stock ls6 intake, 235/243 cam, 4000 stall 390 gears, 4l60e sd tune, headers/exhaust and I made 416hp/375 torque. basically the same stuff as you expect you have a bigger intake which will make more power up to and loose a little torque down low.
