Ok sounds cool. It looks like I may have to upgrade my valvetrain.

What's wrong with your valve train?

Tell me more about your fuel set up and what happened with the walbro? I was thinking of getting the racetronix fp but that wouldnt be enough? Thanks

Take a look at the last couple of graphs. On top end at 6100-6200rpms, it abruptly tanks hard. Notice the dip in the upper rpm range I pointed out. I believe my valve springs are losing pressure. So I asked John to put together a stout kit to address this problem.

The twin fuel pump is racetronix I believe. It came from Lonnie Performance. During the build stage, I thought to get a twin fuel pump setup just in case. I hear that a single pump wont hold up too long trying to meet the fueling demands of the 427. So I went ahead and got the twin to avoid any fuel issues. Im telling you its worth it. Litle88 your setup is gonna make roughly the same power as mine. If you havent done so, get a twin fuel pump.

Those are some good #'s , I built 429ci stroke 4.125 same bore with stock LS3 heads for a customer put down 516rwhp and stock LS3 intake , I told him if you put LS3 CNC ported heads that flows 350CFM will gains 30-40rwhp , TSP has LS7 small bore that flows 390CFM , those will make at least 570rwhp with fast and 1/7-8 tubes , Good luck with this build .

Thanks man. I agree with the comment on LS3 CNC ported heads. As you already know, I have those. Considering they're like $1500ish for a pair of those things along with the performance gains and a good matching cam, **** can't beat it. I thought about those LS7 small bore heads but I'm happy with what my LS3 heads. As you can see...I'm happy with this setup.

Aight fellas I got valvetrain upgrades to address the spring pressure problem. The new valvetrain setup consists of manley springs 700 max lift and they are nextech micro polished. Manley titanium retainer, Manley hardened seats, new valvestem seals hardened locks. Manton 3 piece series 3 pushrods in 11/32 size .118 wall. So John is gonna dyno my car one more time to verify the gains in mid to top end. Hopefully we can post the final numbers really soon. Once I get the car back...I will get track times. Drag strip 50-60 miles from is open on weekends now. TNT being held on saturdays for now.

Through a f*cking auto...damned impressive. Can't wait to see what that yellow pig turns at the track. Nice build, regardless!

Sorry...I know it's been awhile. Been out of town working lately. But I will take my car to the track at 6pm today. The track is running a drag street legal style event. This is something new to me because I always go to test n tune events. So hopefully I can produce timeslip and/or video. Hopefully it dont rain either. However, I can literally say the car runs hell of alot better than before. Better tuning than the last one.

Well I have MT ET streets 295/45/17s. Plus I got this BMR xtreme drag sway bar setup that I installed but never got a chance to use it...yet. I might make a few adjustments on TQ arm pinion and LCAs. Then again, might not.

Today I ran a 11.5@119 with 1.7 60 foot. I ran this 4 times. I left my suspension alone. Looks like I'm gonna need to run bigger tires and fine tune suspension. I still believe I have a 10 sec car...but I will have work on everything else.

I think you should be able to 10s, my car with the old 412 with 511rwhp went 11.0@129 and 10.78@129 a year later. Though your mph seem low as you have more power than I did. Mine was full weight too.

What gear do you have? I did pick up .4 going from 3.73 to 4.11 gears.

120 mph trap speed is real low for that set up. What's the race weight?

Yea i know it is. I was spinning pretty bad and my trans was shifting too early at 5900 rpms. I havent weighed it but I think it might be at 3600 roughly. Not too sure. I was running MT ET Streets II. Even with the burnouts, I wasnt hooking too good.
