The 5.3 isnt in the car yet, as Im doing a few things to it now.

 

Ugh That car is sexy ...... Im looking to put a 5.3 in my car and make 700+ rwhp. Congrats on the number. How much did the old 370 make and was the master power turbo used on both motors?

 

+1, that is an amazingly clean engine bay, well done sir!!

Smooth firewall FTW...

 

It made 603rw on 14psi with the Master Power GT45 (68.9mm compressor wheel). Sold the complete drivetrain so the new combo is completely fresh.

I spent so much time on that firewall I dont even want to think about it but it gets more complements than anything else on the car.



Next step is Im looking at throwing some Wiseco's and Eagle rods in it so I can safely max out the turbo and see if I can hit 900rw through the 80E and 12 bolt.

 

What else are you doing to the 5.3 if you don't mind me asking?

Forged pistons and rods. Id like to turn it up right past the limits of the stock ones and I dont want to window the block because they are getting harder to find around here.
