Default Who has the highest STREETABLE ALL-MOTOR RWHP?

Just as I ask but also include motor size, camshaft, compression, heads, bolt-ons, auto or M6, and if you have videos of the car idling, please post it. Also, pump gas motors.

My vote goes for Damain. 114lsa, tiny (by todays standards) and smooth idling camshaft, full exhaust, 476 rwhp through an 8.8 w/ 4.10 gears. Sounds like a good daily driver setup, but with the rearend, clutch, and accompanying mods to back it up at the track if necessary (unlike a true 10 bolt "dyno queen").

My 388 was very streetable. Tiny 230/236 .595/.598 114 cam, Stage 3 5.7 heads, 12 bolt with 4.33's, compression was 12:1, and an it was an M6 with all the bolt ons. It was made on a mixture of 91 octane and 103, I probably lost about 20rwhp on straight 91 and a street tune but still and very fun and streetable setup.

Might wanna PM 770Boy.. He just got an FMS 396 a few weeks back. Made 504/498 through a 12 bolt w/ 4:30s and full exhaust. I got to drive his car the other day and it drives like STOCK until you lay into it. Smoothest motor I have had the chance to drive yet!

Might want to define what you mean streetable a little more narrowly. Streetable means if you can drive on the street to some to others it means a car with decent manners that is able to be used as a daily driver.

Well, mine made 485 RWHP before the fuel pump started to drop off. Through my A4 and 3:73's. And that was at 5,000rpm. After a couple months and rings being trashed it still dynoed 467 RWHP with a bad tune.

As far as streetable, there is no lope at all, the car doesn't shake at all, basically idles like a stock car, never once stalled or surged, got 25mpg on the HWY, pretty good mpg in the city, pretty good sized cam 242/242, and runs like a top.

The rings just got washed out during its first 2 months.

But ARE is rebuilding it and it should be better than before. They'll have the motor in 4 days. Hoping for 500 or more RWHP through my A4. Hoping.

The 150 wet shot should put me over that if not

How about my definition of the word streetable: any size motor, pump gas friendly, full exhaust, low engine maintenance (no solid rollers), rough idle accepted at less than 1200rpm, if light throttled from 1200rpm motor doesn't jerk or puke, no overheating issues in city traffic, a serious car guy can drive it on every day (of course, not in snowy or heavy rain), and even drive it on short trips.

I have a 397/391 (91 octane pump gas) setup I use everyday. 216/.588/114+2 cam on stock cubes and heads. I've even taken it on a 7 hour day trip ... held up just fine and I got 29.3 mpg.

Mine idles at 950.
93 octane
full exhaust, gutted cats
I can sit in traffic in the south Florida sun with the A/C on for as long as I want without it getting too hot, its never once seen the 210 mark.
no jerking
never once stalled
warms up in about 1 minute
I drive it every day rain or shine
Besides my rings, its never had a problem, its 1 1/2 years old this month.

Completely streetable here. I drive my car every single day of the week. This car cranks up and doesnt have to search for idle, engine temp NEVER rises, full exhaust, doesnt throw a single code, and its a tire fryer.

I would say Plan B's old Ute would be up there. 680HP at the crank, Speed Density tune, and was a daily driver.

Don't me knocking old married guys! If the wife wouldn't have said okay I wouldn't be able to get the car.

Gomer, you up in B'ham right. You cruise with Vprvnm or however he spells his username.

THere is that video I forgot about. THere is also another video, one that was a friendly little run against motor vs spray.

Here is one video

IMO, FMS is now providing some of the most powerfull motors w/ reliability. My FMS camshaft idles almost as smooth as stock when warm, and makes the #'s below. There's about 5-6 others guys in Atlanta making sick #'s with FMS camshafts and drive them every single day...

All depends on your preferences. This question is to broad to answer without more specification.
