372 rwhp after ported fast 102 & long tubes -06 C6
I just had my 06 A6 coupe dynoed locally and I gained 14rwhp and 27rwtq with a ported fast 102. The car dynoed 342.37hp & 349.14tq with a vararam and 160 tstat.
I gained 20rwhp with obx long tubes and catted X with an ecs mail tune above the vararam & 160 tstat dyno pull. So grand total is 29.79 rwhp and 29.53 rwtq for long tubes, catted X and ported 102 fast. I still have the stock catback and stock UNPORTED throttle body. I've seen some gains as high as 60-70rwhp on this forum with long tubes, fast 102 and ported tb. It was mid 80's in the shop and 88% humidity for a DA of 1900 at the time. Weather or do I just have the opposite of a factory freak, a factory dud so to speak?

LS2s dont put out stellar numbers. The tune is obviously off a bit too, I wouldn't be too worried. You gained a lot in the midrange, but the tune needs work for it to shine up top.

DietCoke is right. I think you have several things working: weather, perhaps an average LS2, canned tune, generic headers. With Kooks or ARH, cooler weather, and a good tune, I think you'd see 15-20 more. Still solid numbers but the 60-70 you see was likely an LS3 cars running on a pig rich factory tune then done up properly.

Kooks, LG and AR make great headers, but on multiple corvette forums the ls2 C6 dyno results between all of them and ebay headers have shown to be relatively equal. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...with-cats.html
LS2's have seen gains in the 20's rwhp on bolt-on only cars with non-ported fast 102, stock cam.
I'm happy with the tune and how it drives. It idles and drives much smoother than the email tune. Looks like my car is an avg lS2 and weather didn't help. I will have to wait a few weeks for the track since it's been Africa hot with 90's most of this month with some 100's. Thanks for the feedback to everyone who responded.

I dont think your numbers are terrible. Like was said, I dont think its an optimal setup (big intake/stock cam) but your also an auto, which will bring your numbers down some as well.
You could always throw a small-mid sized cam in it to take better advantage of the airflow from the new intake and see more gains.

Your tune is hitting 12 flat AFR by the end of the run. Clearly that is nowhere near optimized. Who knows what kind of timing you are running with that thing.
With a real street/dyno tune you'll be hitting 390rwhp no sweat.

thanks Redtan & Slowhawk.
NVR SPDS & I8UR4RD(great username): cam and stall are going to have to wait until spring. I spent more than I planned on custom car audio system last month because the factory "no highs, no lows gotta be BOSE" system gave up the ghost.
jmilz28- I'm not hearing any ping but I have to do some data-logging to check for KR. Been tied up the last few days unfortunately. MPG's definitely look better since the re-tune.
