Default Advanced Induction Heads/Cam LS3

I posted this in the Gen 4 Internal Engine section...but thought I'd put it here too.

Smoothing on 0 and SAE put the car at 499 RWHP. Smoothing on 5 put it at 494. I'm thrilled with this setup.

I'm going to try to take it to the track Wednesday night. Any predictions on the ET/MPH? The car is a HEAVY 2010 SS M6, I think 3900 pounds (last time out it weighed 3997, but had some crap in the trunk).

Nice Results! I actually just placed an order to get the same cam cut, but on different lobes (a little more lift) for the 6.0 in my Impala SS. I think it'll go nicely with my new heads too.

I'm gonna say best pass @ 11.7-11.8 @ 114-116.

MPH better be higher than that lol...last year it trapped 114-116 with 425 RWHP!!!

I will say 121 with lower 11's. Maybe 11.3 or there abouts. With a stick shift you will be the key as to how low time wise it will be.

Last year was mid 12's, I think my best was a 12.530 on a crappy 1.89 60'. I cut a few 1.70 60's but somehow always managed to screw up the rest of the run.

In May of this year I went to the track with this setup, my tune was a total disaster (was 45 horse off where it is now all just in the tune), and I only got 2 full passes in...and I REALLY screwed up both of them, rev limiters, missed shifts, horrible launches...and the car still went 12.1 both times.

That's what I'm hoping for. LVD in NY doesn't always have the best air/MPH, and that's where I'm going...but if I run decently, I'll go to NED in NH soon too where that's usually the opposite.

Yeah, like I said above, I usually manage to screw up my passes somehow...I'm so comfortable driving the car on the highway...never miss a shift, never bump the rev limiter...put a helmet on my head and make it perfectly legal to drive it ***** out...and I mess up almost every time lol. If I can get the 60' down where it should be, and not mess up the rest of the run, I don't see how the car won't go mid 11's.

You sound like me. I checked my logs at the track when my car ran a 12.7, and it showed 89-90% throttle...turns out I had my seat too far back and wasn't going full WOT...amateur mistake lol.

In that case, I say you'd still go 11.8 at 119...just because you'd screw it up somehow. On a good run. I'd give you 11.5 or lower with a bomb *** 60 ft. Get some drag radials on that thing and let her eat!!
