96 LT1: 609 RWHP on Mustang Dyno, no traction.
On FACTORY tires, the LT1 Dynoed 609 on a Mustang dyno sliding from side to side with no traction, It smoked the tires. I have the graph Ill post it up soon once I find out how to do it. The setup on the LT1 is a 383 Stroker with a 12 lb blower. The car is insane, it should dyno in the 780 RWHP range now with Drags on a dynojet, and with 20 lbs of boost, were aiming for 850+RWHP
Yes the LT1 is a streetcar, I drive her 45 miles to Mcallen and back sometimes for a cruise, with A/C and Jams.
Well I just thought Id share my experience, the guys at the dyno were freaking out they were like

You won't do 780rwhp with only 12 psi, prolly looking at like 17-20 psi to hit that thru a T400 with your YS Trim.
I might be dynoing one more time in a couple of weeks and I might have made few changes that will increase my numbers. My sig numbers were with 17psi, thru a 9", 28" slicks, and a T400.

I think you will need 15-18 psi for 780rwhp, what is the pulley combo?
I am using a 8.0 crank and a 2.85 blower pulley. I am also dynoing thru a T400 but also thru a 9" and on 28" slicks. So if we play the dyno game, I could have upped the 746rwhp on slicks to 760rwhp (potentially). That would be 17psi for my current combo. Just a datapoint, because I am maybe going to try for 775rwhp next time but we'll see.

If this is a streetcar in SA then i would have definately heard of you. Hell, never even heard of the car.
Do you actually take it to street functions or just dont track it?
not tryign to be a dick, just curious
