Bolt on LS1 W/100 shot
Thought I would post my recent dyno results. I am really not that guy who cares about dyno numbers, for me its about the ET. With that said, I was surprised at the numbers and to me they seem to be about 40hp too high.
99 Trans Am A4
-Mac mids, Carsound Hi Flo cats, MagnaFlow catback
-Direct Flo Lid
-SSF 3500, 3:42 gear
-HPT tuning by me
-bunch of suspension work etc.
-HSW dry kit w/ 100 shot pill, 94 octane, 4 degrees timing pulled
The car dynoed 477hp/470tq but like I said it seems high to me and the graph seems wrong. The hp and tq lines cross below 4000rpm not at 5252. Here's a vid of one pull. Sorry for the quality as I recorded it with my phone.
The weekend before the dyno I ran 11.6's @ 115 coming off the line on motor and turning off the nitrous between shifts with the window switch. DA was somewhere around 1200.
So would you consider the numbers to be high or does it seem correct?
Also this was with a DynoCom dyno.

Full weight car? Mine with hp and tq in sig went 12.08 @117 with a 1.95 60ft and probably weighs 100lbs more than stock with stereo stuff and misc other not including me @180 or so. This was at Memphis Motorsports Park in about 60deg weather. Id say the delay off when shifting is probably costing you 1-2 tenths, no? I also understand the safety factor it brings and would probably do the same myself. Nice time for sure.

Yes the car is full weight. It rings in at over 3800lbs with me in it if I remember correctly. I too have probably 100lbs worth of stereo equipment.

Then Id say your right on par with the #'s in my sig. I bet you would trap a lil higher if your setup didnt cut off during the shifts. I have thought of selling my FI setup and going to nitrous because the ease of working on crap under the hood, but trying to use nitrous like I do the blower would get expensive, quick...
