Talking Full Bolt On LS1 Results!!!

I have a 2002 Trans AM M6 with only 21k miles and have recently completed a full bolt on setup consisting of the following:

Potz P&P throttle body
SLP Lid
TSP 1 3/4 Long Tubes
TSP ORY Y pipe
SLP LM2 exhaust
MSD plug wires
Frost mail order tune

From looking at the AFR readings the tune is spot on and we were surprised how well it did for being a mail order tune. I was hoping for 345-355whp but was quite happy with the outcome. These are dynojet numbers taken on a superflow dyno.

Do these numbers look about right?

Nice numbers! Throw on a UDP and SSRA, and you'll be even better

Thanks! Yeah I plan on getting the Powerbond 25% pulley very soon. Will redyno to see if it picks up any.

Based on the AFR and who knows what timing you're running, I bet it still has some ponies left in her.

Your not full bolt-on yet. You need a ewp, fast intake, udp ditch the 1 3/4" headers for some 1 7/8's and a real dyno tune.

Those are great numbers for the low mileage '02...

I want to say I think it's awesome to keep and mod this car as a tribute to your father. I lost mine, unexpectedly, at age 57 and really miss our musclecar conversations!

Thanks for the kind words guys!

In regards to "getting a real tune" I understand that nothing replaces a dyno tune. However, based on the power and AFR I feel confident that a dyno tune would not have been worth the extra money, given the results with the Frost tune.

I unfortunately did not do a "before tune" I just got a little mod happy and couldnt wait...

**I just ordered a TSP Torquer V2 cam on a 114lsa and Powerbond 25% under drive pulley. Very excited to see if I can hit 420whp on stock 241 heads. I will also have frost send me a tune for the cam and then throw it back on the dyno and see how it looks. I will most likely end up doing a full dyno tune regardless though.

Those are good numbers for a bolted M6 car... Just had my 75Kmi 00 Firehawk Dynoed yesterday and put down 342/356 through my bolted A4... I too ordered a custom cround cam 230/234 113+4... Should have it installed next month...
