370ci LQ9 H/C/I Results
I just finished up my H/C/I forged piston and rod LQ9 build and got it dynoed.
Combo is:
370 iron shortblock built by TMS
Mahle forged pistons -4cc coated skirts and crowns
moly piston rings
forged 4340 Eagle h beam rods with ARP bolts
Stock crank
ARP head studs
GM 6.0l/6.2l head gaskets
862 casting heads with ls1 intake valves, back cut and ported
pacesetter long tubes, y, and a 3 inch exhaust
Fast 102/NW102 touched up by Vengeance
42lb bosch injectors and a Walbro 255lph
LS7 lifters, Comp hardened pushrods
Brian Tooley dual valve springs
Comp 238/240 .608/610 112 cam
T56, 4.10s, oem steel drive shaft, 295/40/17 kumho v710s on the rear
The car sees a lot of nice days on the street, a lot of autox and open track days. The dyno was a Dyno Dynamics load bearing dyno, The car made 412 rwhp and around 403ftlbs tq. The owner of the dyno said his dyno is about 18% off of a dynojet, so I guess I might see 480rwhp on a dynojet, I'm not too hung up on numbers though, cant wait to see some time slips. I really think there's good power under the curve, what do you think?

Get them heads ported! I had the same heads from TMS on my 346" from them and did 395/377sae, then did PRC 5.3's and made 437/419sae
*also don't know anything about Dyno Dynamics but my car was within 2hp dynoing it years ago on a Mustang to a dynojet.....The shop with Mustang told me 15% less than a dynojet too, hopefully your tuner isn't bullshittin you like I mine was.
