Default F11 cam and boltons hits 401hp (Thru Cats)!

Went up to Eastside yesterday for their dynotune special. Great guys to deal with!

I hit 401.3 Hp and 376.8 Tq corrected! Thanks to Kevin for tweaking the car and getting the 400! The car is an animal now

I saw about a 20hp increase with the tune and at some points there was a 24 hp difference.

Heres the link to the dynosheet!

Congrats! Looks like 400+ rwhp is the norm for a FMS cam with stock heads.

That's a mean *** flat torque curve! Good numbers! I hit 399rwhp @ 386rwtq with my TR224 with all my mods in sig but that was with a Hooker ORY instead of my new QTP Catted Y. I need to hit the rollers again and see actually how much power is lost with a set of HF cats.

Nice numbers rob! I assume you tuned with HP tuners, right? I couldnt imagine you got a full dyno tune after buying HPT . Anyway, what needed to be tweeked to coax 24 more friggin HP?!? Just a:f way off or something? Any, the jealousy level has ratcheted up another notch.

Well....Kevin (NOGO) from Eastside wanted to take a look at the HPTuners software so we used this to make the changes to the tune. The HP increase came from a combination of:
-Throttle not opening 100% (cable clip had popped out and made the linkage have too much slack)
-Car was running really rich at WOT
-the stock timing table

First real pull was like 381hp
Then 389hp (cable fixed)
Then 398.7hp
Then 401.8hp

I picked up some good info from Kevin who really knows how to tune an engine for power.

P.S. Kevin showed me that I had an intake restriction most likely at the MAF housing (stock) that could give me a few horse. Add in the flp offroad pipes and maybe an exhaust dump afterwards and I think 420rwhp is possible. Not even factoring in my TNT kit.......
