Default Stg. 1 LS6 heads/ 224R results

It put down 409 RWHP and 373 RWTQ. Honestly I was expecting a bit more torque, but it pulls like a champ so maybe the numbers read kinda low. Anyway, let me know what you guys thinks.

List of mods:

Stock bottom end
PRC stage 1 LS6 heads-64cc chamber
224R cam 112 LSA
Unported FAST 92/92
K&N FIPK
FAST 36# injectors
1-3/4" Headers, TSP catted-y, Magnaflow CB
Yank SS3200
3.73 gear
Tuned by Speed Inc.

That's actually some pretty good numbers for a mild cam through an auto. It should run pretty hard at the track

I think those are good numbers. You should put 1 7/8's headers on it and see what gains you get though.

1 3/4" primaries, catted Y, THROUGH a cross flow muffler (no mention of a cutout...) 3.90 gears and an auto.

That's pretty damned good, brother.

How much do you think I would gain with 1 7/8? Would it be peak or under the curve? Would I have to get another tune?

Both, I picked up 5whp just switching from 1 3/4 LT's and that's with a bolt on car, so it would be way more beneficial for you since you have H/C.

Thanks for the compliments guys. What do you guys think it'll run in the quarter mile? I'd like to run it, i'm just nervous about breaking the 10 bolt.

Those are some good numbers for that cam! As far as the 10 bolt goes, unless its seen alot of abuse, you should be okay, autos are lil more forgiving on 10 bolts. what tire setup are you running? race weight?

Stock weight for a t-top car minus the spare tire and jack. 245/50 R16 Sumic GT50's that the previous owner put on. I'm sure my times wouldn't be too great with these tires, but they do grip fairly decent.

Almost identical numbers with a damn near identical setup!

Just had mine tuned Saturday. For a reference I started out with a frost e mail tune and gained 10hp/25tq. This seasons runs before the dyno tune were 11.57(-150 da) to 11.85(+2500 da)

I ran the stock 10 bolt for 2 seasons with this combo and 3.42 gears. Pulled 1.6x 60 foots with no problems. If I had to guess about 100 passes.

Were those times with the nitrous or naturally aspirated? What tires are you running?

Times were na, running 28" et street radials on summit 5 stars. I'm going back Friday night so I'll get you some post tune time on and off the bottle. They'll be 1/8 mile but it'll give you a decent idea.

Way too many variables tonight for me to give you good data, but from my experience you should be anywhere from 11.5x to 12.0x depending on da, and track conditions with a decent tire. Going to depend on exactly what your weight is also. I'm at 3500 and have cut about 200 from where I was stock with 17 in wheels.

Anything 12 seconds and lower is fine by me. How much do these cars weigh from the factory anyway? I'm hoping to get some times in before the summers over.

Mine was about 3750 with me (220 at the time) so right around 3500 in full trim. Possibly less, mine had a trailer hitch when I bought it lol.
