You're gonna need more torque to get 3500# out of the hole, if you want to run 10's.
Judging your dyno #'s and raceweight,probably 11.3-11.4 @ 119-121mph

i already went 118 mph running a 11.90 with seriously sliping clutch and a 1.9 60ft time with 400rwhp. so im definaly going to fly much faster now. it feels way better than it did at sbso. the car will be in the 3450lb range for now.
if it goes 11.2's in this hot nasty weather it will go 10's in september.

Yeah, I guess I don't know what I'm talking about.
You'll probably run 10.60's

Everytime someone comes out with a good product or combo, there will always be haters... especially ones who's records are in danger.

Congrats on the #'s! Good luck with the 1320!

My record is not in danger.I'm not hating.
Wait and see what happens.
I'm just trying to give him a heads up.
God bless, run 10.60's, I could care less.

I just think it's funny to argue with the guy who did it.

That would be 435+RWHP and 400RWTQ through a 3.42 ten bolt with belt on. I think that cam is doing quite well!!!

Thats still a dissapointing torque number regardless of the rear. I would hope to see around 410rwtq.

Feeling faster and being faster are two totally different things. You may have gained a bunch of hp from the cam swap but you will have a hard time running 11.2's with so little torque.

im not going to argue with everone about this, so ill just post up the time slips. jason put down 409ft.lbs with his stock rear making very similar power.
and i didnt say i felt fast from the cam swap, anyone would, that like a no brainer. i said it felt way faster after we fixed the tb problem and tuned it, and that the shootout time were from a non tuned cam with a tb that was only opening 85%
im still not sure some of yall realize how much big gears kill dyno numbers, especially torque.

yeayea. well see what happens. this will be the first time i ever drove a
f-body with a manual on slicks so it may take more than 3 passes to get a decent time. hoping to get mid 1.5's for now. and some 1.4's when i finish the suspension.

btw. what kinda hp/torque did you car put down through the 4.30's you had.

Thumbs up

Rodney thanks for running the Auto Tap on my car today, pretty interesting for me to see how much power is still left in my car. Guess a little tuning could help me.

im going to be getting my own on monday. its a great program. i just wish that i could have done more than clear the codes for ya. you need to go get that a/f and timing tunded. then i think youll enjoy the car even more. it is amazing what computers can tell you in 30 seconds about the car.
just talk ya boy into hooking me up with a decent price on them ws6 wheels.
