Default Polluter V.2 Cam Only 462/427(69rwhp/37rwtq gain over stock)

2005 LS2 C6 Corvette
-Stock heads
-Stock LS2 intake and TB
-BBK cold air intake
-Kooks 1x7/8" headers
-Kooks 3" ORX
-Billy Boat exhaust
-Tick Performance Polluter V.2 camshaft 239/244 .624/.595 111lsa
-BTR Platinum springs .660" lift
-Comp Cams .105" wall 5/16" diameter 7.400" push rods
-T56 transmission

On a LS2 with 11:1 compression the V.2 is a monster. The SNS Stage 3 wouldn't of lost the torque the V.2 did under 3500rpm. The later IVC and added overlap the V.2 on a 111lsa has vs. SNS 3 really makes insane power from 4000rpm and up.

The torque curve from a 239/244 cam is awesome. 400rwtq@3650rpm is impressive. This Vette is gonna fly!

Here are the SAE numbers. Note the conditions were better in the shop than the SAE correction would allow thus pulling the SAE numbers down. 62rwhp/32rwtq gain in this format.

Awesome gains. That polluter cam really makes great numbers. For an all out setup that is the cam I would want.

The pistons would have to be fly cut at least as deep as the heads are milled. If you're in there fly cutting anyways, I'd mill those heads to the max (.040) and cut .060 valve reliefs.

This cam in a light weight mustang with a lq9, ls2 or a high compression ls1 would fly. I could easily see a 3000# notch going 9.90's all motor with a 5200 rpm stall.

What about the TFS 205s... they are 58cc chambers with better than stock PtV clearance. They flow 300cfm, so better than 243s but actually have a smaller port on them of 205cc...

I would think the Polluter v2 and TFS 205s could be a bolt on 480+rwhp combo for an LS1 with insane throttle response.

Martin, do you think the Polluter would clear my heads, or would I nee to flycut. I'll try to find the PTV clearance numbers for the head with my SNS Torque Max Stage 2 cam.

I agree. The 48 IVC@.050" would work very well with that CSA and valve area the 205's have.

You would need to fly-cut knowing what your P to V was with the SNS 2. The SNS 3 affords around .010-.014 better clearance on average than the Polluter from what we've seen.

With your compression, either cam would be a large increase in power over the SNS 2.

I'm really impressed by the torque this combo makes. I also like those B&B catbacks.

Is this cam to large for a stock 2001 ss camaro with headers and a 4000 stall?

I would prefer the SNS Stage 3 for a stock compression LS1.

It gains 60-70rwhp/30-40rwtq as well. It's valve events are better suited for a stock compression LS1 than the Polluter.

i went with the 247/250 624/595 114+4... going in a 418 stroker with prc 247 heads and 11.01 static comp... hoping for 540rwhp, but will be happy if its at least over 510

That cam should help create a very broad, flat, table top like torque curve and drive surprisingly well for a 247/250 duration camshaft.

Martin, knowing that right now I have 0.69" clearance on the intake side and .101" clearance on the exhaust side, what would be the biggest I could go without running into PTV clearance issues? I'm still unsure on what to do regarding intake. Torn between Super Victor/4150 and FAST 102/102 combo. Looking to turn this thing into a max effort car that can come as close to making 500 rwhp and run high 10's on motor.
