Open cutout vs closed! Open had more power everywhere. I have a flowmaster 80 series that came on it when I bought it.
SLP Lid, ported stock throttle body, cat deletes, and cutout with 3.73s!

3.73s automatic 2002. 150k miles.
Here's my graph next to friends, it's a 2001 with 853s but an ls6 intake manifold(he just bought it we think it's a junkyard engine? I'm not sure), it has lid, bbk headers, y pipe, catback and 3.73s as well!
you can see at 5745 rpm where he has up to nearly 20 more whp and lb-ft than me! I need some headers and exhaust!
Except I pull him by a car on the highway, maybe it's my SSRA doing work?
I didn't mention it as a mod because i didnt have a fan on the car like i asked for.

I went 12.7 @ 110 before I had a tune on my car!
With bigs and littles and full suspension and weight reduction hoping for 12.4-12.5! Stock Stall!!! Circle d 4c+ going to be in pretty soon and shooting for some 11.90's on stock exhaust manifolds!

Intresting to say the least. Maybe the ssra is working enough to give you an edge up top? Id figure he would pull you by more than a length due to the ls6 and BBK's. What speeds are yall running from and to when you beat him? Does his have the free ram air mod done? To the best of my knowledge the 853's aren't stock on a 2001 car, it should have 241's.

We both did 40 roll in 2nd and we both have 3.73's(I left mine in drive, he got out half a car, through 3rd I reeled him back in and by 120 was half a car ahead and starting to pull ahead).
He has the free ram air mod too.
Forgot to mention he also has a underdrive pulley and I don't.

Here's the video, sorry about crappy quality. Hard to tell but through 2nd he got half a car out, 3rd i came around and ended up half a car ahead. I was starting to pull away the faster we went.
