Default Stainlessworks headers Dyno results

So I went last night to get the car dyno tuned with the new Stainless Works headers and catted y-pipe, and I have to say, I'm really impressed with these headers. No ground clearance issues, and check out the gains...

First, my last dyno run from October 18th of last year (also has my stock numbers).

It might be a little hard to see, but the numbers are 343.0 HP and 343.7 TQ.

Now the run from last night.

369.92 HP and 362.69 TQ. That's +26 RWHP and +19 RWTQ with the only changes being the headers, y-pipe, plugs and wires. I'm pretty happy with those results. I'll still be going ATP in June, just to see how it does on the same dyno as my first run.

Now I just need to get to the track and see how it does.

Other mods are '02 LS6 cam and springs, ASP pulley, SLP lid, and Vig 2800.

The second chart is after tuning. I think I gained ~6 HP from it.

Good to see, I have the first set they did, with 3-1/2" exhaust into their stainless muffler, y-pipe without bullets in place of mufflers, haven't had a chance to dyno them. Great gains! Plus their y-pipe uses the stock hangar so NO banging issues!

SW's are 1-3/4" headers. I too have their LTs w/ catted Y-pipe... Dyno appt is scheduled in another week or two. I am hoping for the same #'s, as I also have the LS6-cam....

Their price for their 304SS LT's + custom Random Tech Converter is ~$1250. Headers and Y-pipe are all 304SS.

No banging issues, no clearance issues, no shaving of the block, no removal of the steering shaft, no removal of the alternator.........

is that the shop in cali(fremont?) that makes all those vw turbo kits (8vturbo.com), man i hope they didnt make those headers, cause those fewls hire illegals to weld. I bought a turbo kit from them (vw) several years ago and they screwed up the welding so bad we had to chop up several items (ie totally crooked downpipe flange).

i surely hope they aren't in the business of fbody parts, cause their crap sucks, and george(owner?) who cant speak engrish sucks butt too

all the welds on the oil pan for the turbo return leaked too.

**rant over** if atp didn't make them then cool. Those dudes are jokes, $2000 turbo kit and they dont include clamps. asked for some and they wanted to charge me $50 for regular hardware store clamps (not t-bolt style) lol.

they do make some vw's go fast but god knows they have their heads up their asses as far as tuning goes. If i mistaked this ATP for another in that vacinity then my apologies.

just rant, atp sux ***, or did years ago and the owner didn't give a rats ***.

ATP didn't do the headers or the tuning. They're just where I went for a couple of dyno days.
