Your setup made 20whp/20rwtq than my stock geared m6, with 243 heads and same cam! I bet it feels good on the street.

Thanks guys! It's a great street car. I will probably take it to the track once to get a 1/4 mile time, but it's mostly going to stay a street/garage queen.

@ bozzhawg - I agree, the 224/230 is a great cam. Pulls really hard and has a hell of a kick to it. Sounds stock-ish at idle with a little lope, but once you get on it, car becomes a monster. I don't know much about the science behind every single spec of a cam (learning along the way) But I did a lot of research before going with the 224/230 114 and I also have seen good solid results with it all over the web. Like you said, it just works. No wonder many shops use this similar 224/230 grind.

With the cut out full open, definitely doesn't sound stock. Usually keep it open. I can imagine how loud it is without cats.

Once I took the cats off mine it got way more raspy. Shrugs.

Not anytime soon. But maybe in the future.

I just couldn't justify putting the money towards a FAST during my build since I have a LS6 intake. Maybe if one happens to come up at a really good price, I'd jump it then.
