Default PRC 225 "As Cast" + MS3 Cam on SBE LS1 Dyno Results *Video*

Just finished up a top-end build on my 28k original mile LS1. Here are the mods:

PRC 225 "As Cast" Heads
TSP Magic Stick 3 237/242 .603"/.609" 112 LSA
LS7 Lifters, Ls2 Lifter Trays, TSP Pushrods, Rocker Arm Trunion Upgrade
FAST 92MM Intake
Nick Williams 92MM TB
Stock MAF
SLP Lid
American Racing Headers + Catted Y-pipe
SLP LM1 Catback

Tuned by JTM Motorsports, Long Island, NY
Car made 441rwhp/383rwtq on a mustang dyno
Pretty satisfied with the results! What do you guys think?

Looks good. I would removed the cats and throw on a ud pulley to hit 450.

Very nice! Just a little info about dynos though...I made 10 more hp on a mustang dyno over a dynojet dyno lol

True because on a Mustang dyno you can make the numbers change based on the calibration.

put a cutout on that thing I bet it will gain 8-12rwhp.

6speed with stock 10 bolt on 4.10 gears.

You think he'd pick up that much with a cutout? I guess you're probably right since he's running a y-pipe setup. Let's just say for instance he had true duals. How much do you think would be picked up if he ditched the duals and put two bullets off the collectors?

My car picked up a ton when I switched to true duals. I switched headers from slp to kooks at the same time and it picked up almost 50hp and 50ft/lbs. Does it seem like the torque is low for that setup or is it just because of the mustang dyno?

From my understanding and what I've seen the MS3 doesn't make a lot of torque. But I could be wrong.

the MS3 makes plenty of TQ .... It just so happens that the TQ peak is WAAAY up in the rpm range and a little light downstairs.

Anyone else running this combo?? I just bought the PRC 225cc "as cast" heads with the ms3 cam also... my main diffrence is im running a ls6 intake and am going to be going through a stalled th400... I would love to see some track times with this setup

Not really sure it will gain that much since hes running a straight pipe setup. I couldnt be wrong though..

woulda made more turning it higher. add 700rpm or use less cam. few hp in the maf too
